Marcus, aka tools4fools wohnt ja auch nicht weit von hier.

He Marcus, wie schaut's denn mal mit einem feucht-fröhlichen Treffen aus? Ich will mal wieder ein paar von Deinen Photos sehen.

Thanks mate, can you recommend one? Or should I just "Google" it and pick one? </font>Originally posted by Prankster:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by ParaBellum:

CC3 works fine on my XP system.

System requirements haven't been posted yet.
While I'm sure you will need a fairly up-to date system to play the game at high visual quality one should also keep in mind that it's highly unlikely that BFC will release a game that the majority of the potential customers can't play on a midrange system.

Ich dachte Du wurdest deportiert weil Du in den Alpsee gepinkelt hast?

WW2 RTS (working title), Battlefield Command, Wartime Command, Theater of War. Did I forget one?

I'm all for more polish missions. There are not THAT many wargames that let you play for the polish side.Originally posted by maciek_d:Would be more interesting don't you think?
BTW this is exactly why I really hope for a mission/map editor that lets us create and play interesting scenarios besides "Shermans against 88s in Normandy" and "T-34s against Tigers somewhere in Russia"...

So, these are your "bad joke names"? Well, I guess we just have to disagree here then, I actually don't think any of those names is so totally out of place.Originally posted by Steiner14:Anglen, Anhalt, Belin, Blauvelt, Bögenschutz, Bott, Braunstein, Cränen, Dank, Edelstein, Eichhorn, Essen, Euling, Feldmann, Fell, Freitag, Gaschler, Gelband, Gres, Greup, Grow, Hamblen, Handschein,...
Except Gaschler of course. Nobody could possibly have such a silly name...

I can't see a problem here. In a current game I'm playing I have a Meier, Krüger, Hartmann, Peter, Berger and Schultz next to a von Steuben, Wittmann and others. Ah, and a Unt Orosz and a Lt.Hardenberger...
From probably 50 names in the battle there are not more than a handful of names I'd call "extremely rare". And I actually prefer NOT having a dozen Meiers and Müllers in my Kampfgruppe...
A total non-issue IMO.

What are you talking about? :confused:Originally posted by Steiner14:Then maybe CDV changed the names? The usual german names are not there.
I do own the CDV versions of both CMBB and AK and the german names are just fine.

Glad to hear that the BFC guys know how much we would like to see a map/mission editor. The effect of including such an editor for longterm playability cannot be overstated.
Just to compare: without a map/battle editor I would've stopped playing CM years ago.

Sounds good to me, thanks for clearing that up. I do have absolutely no problems with some kind of online-authentication, as long as I have to do it only once. But I do hate stuff like Steam that forces me to connect to some whacky server thingie everytime I want to play a game, most probably telling me I have to patch something, completely re-download something, or simply don't let me play because of server issues.

Unfortunately not. We haven't seen MasterGoodale for quite some time around here.Originally posted by vincere:Same here.
When I read it recently I wondered if there was ever a re-match?
If he ever returns, I'd gladly play a game with him again.

I feel honoured.
And yes, "Going to Town" is a classic.

Yup, good news indeed.
As much as I'm concerned, BFC can take all the time they need to build a great engine. I'm still busy with CMBB and CMAK anyway.

Very nice!
The last pic looks fantastic.

I once saw an M1 Abrams tank almost get immobilized while turning on cobblestone pavement. It was during a vehicles show at Koblenz armour museum, and Lindan and Warphead were standing next to me, chanting "Bog down! Bog down!".
That was shortly before Lindan close-assaulted a Flammpanzer III with a beer bottle.
Good times.
Mit großer Spannung...

Tuttlingen?
