i just read on the cmbo forum, some guy said he played cemetery hill over and over again till he got tired of it and now cmbb sits on his shelf. i wonder whether he knew it is one of the more difficult scenarios...

Was wondering, if someone in the know, and has the time, if you could explain what/how is that done...

Would love to make a splash screen for my gaming group, using out logos...

    Thanks in advance...

(posted this a minute ago, but never showed... so, sorry if it's a repeat.)

bmps numered ~11002 are the splash screens. (they differ in resolution)

open them up (save a backup of course) edit, paste, and save.

In addition to your river depth "bug", I just found out that if CMBB detects assault boats in the order of battle for a scenario, it won't let you play that scenario against the AI - won't even present the 1 player option, you are forced to hotseat, PBEM or TCP/IP.

This game is getting smarter than we are....

you can't play from EITHER side?</font>

    Help!!

look at bmps 11002 and a few others before and after that one. those should have the splash screens. if they are not black i don't know what the problem is.

I really don't know from that statement what is acceptable here and what isn't. As far as I'm concerned, it should be that if the subject "pertains to" CMBB it should be acceptable. Any thoughts?

rumor has it the orientation is reversed: if looking form the russian side you get all mixed up, but looking fro the german side is ok. not sure though, but try and see if that works.
  9. suppose you have two cows

    Anarchy

you kill your neighbor and take his cows.

    Feudalism

Your lord takes some of the milk.

    Socialism

you give one of your cows to a neghbor

    Communism

You have to take care of them, but the government takes all the milk. You steal back as much milk as you can and sell it on the black market.

    Totalitarianism

The government takes them and denies they ever existed. Milk is banned.

    Militarism

The government takes both and drafts you.

    Fascism

The government takes both, hires you to take care of them and sells you the milk.

    Dictatorship

The government takes both and shoots you.

    Capitalism

You sell one and buy a bull

np. i was so excited to get a glimpse so i corrected it, then found out 8 pics was over the limit, then i had to wait 30 sec to re post...argh...

the space was screwing up the img links. a simple %20 replacement for all the spaces and voila. (hence the after%20shot's)

The answer is just below 2% chance (1.85) if I remember correctly.

This is hard enough to realize for professionals, but explaining it to patients is harder still.

The best way is usually to explain that there is a 98 percent chance that they do not have the cancer or whatever.

When given time to reflect on the matter and being calmed down by the ruling out the diagnosis by other means, very few come back with the clever question "What kind of crappy test was that?" But those who do usually appreciate the full answer.
