On Tuesdays, he picks up little old ladies and drives them to their knitting circle. On Fridays he distributes blankets to the homeless. He shelters stray dogs and cats, many of whom he has personally nursed back to health. I happen to know that he has taken a vow of chastity and sworn off strong drink.

    Treeburst155 out.

i am afraid you will have to show 10,000 trials before i believe you :D

Why not add a button which offers a simple printer friendly black text on white background version?

try: saving the page as a screenshot(i tried to save it as an html file and when i opened it later it just routed me to the battlefront homepage)

if you want to print it out reverse the colors. i am sure there is some sort of mac graphics program that can do that: hell even ms paint can!

or probably even better highlight all the text and paste it into a text editor.

What I wonder is do you get paid by clicking on the pop-ups? Because I have serious doubts that you'll get enough suckers to buy any of that crap to actually draw a revenue for you. My unofficial calculations are that you have about 500-1000 regular viewers (or at least downloaders) and these people are not going to be buying any of that crap the pop-ups are trying to hawk.

Maybe I'm just a sour-puss, but this mercantilism invading every F**CKING square inch of the internet is driving me crazy, and I'd rather have nothing to do with it. But, on a personal level, good luck with your site and I hope she swims!

the problem with pop ads are that popup authors are fundamentally stupid. first off they make them as intrusive and hard to get rid of as possible because annoying people is the way to get customers.

like with spam, then they even try to defeat anti-popup/spam software, that way they can waste resources trying to annoy the two percent of the market LEAST likely to click their stupid ad/respond to spam.

then they figure only clicking an ad counts as it having an effect even though most ads don't directly make a person buy something that very second. in a magazine ad, the number of times you see an ad and immediately try to get info or buy that product is near zero.

  6. for those new to gunny bunny, he has currently been banned a number of times, spread false rumors that one of the members of bts had an std, spammed people with his email messages, tried to encourage the pirating of bfc software, told potential customers cmbo had too much gore and blood to buy for his son, called quite a few people names, and currently resides under dozens of different names in the killfiles of dozens of usenet users.

i'm sure i missed many things he did but a search or two in the archives will deliver much...well, it'll deliver stuff at least.

and then madmatt waves his magic padlock and...

  7. honestly, i would have thought friction would be the easiest concept to understand in any subject regarding war.

ex) stepping out of shower then phone rings. you are dripping wet so you got to dry off quickly to avoid puddles. then run to phone and try to get it before answering machine picks up. you fail, so you have to get the guy not to hang up/leave message but you also have to shut off answering machine at same time. then you need to get pencil, paper, and not drop your towel, and etc...
