  1. Tom On the netscape version of your allied armour theres a few tag errors and also redundant code, as a quick and dirty fix load the page in the netscape editor and save it, this should make it more netscape compatable but you will still have to correct the coding errors. PS looks like you put a lot of work into this code. [edit} i tried putting some of the code errors here but it inserted the code into my message and made my post screw up [ 05-26-2001: Message edited by: Pud ]
  2. I tend to play Brits,I love the churchil/firefly combo and that piat!! I suspect im wrong here but I find the troops are less prone to moral failure, perhaps its something in their tea?
  3. Be warned it will be a case of : <font face="" style="text-decoration: line-through;">real life</font> CM life!!
  4. In light of the recent mod requests (and them being done). I was thinking is there anything that really needs attention? Place your requests here and hopefully a modder will pick it up and run with it. May even give inspiration for would-be-modders to give it a go.

  6. has a little bit, I think the larger "planks" helps seperate the vertical lines and its this that stops it getting too bad.
  7. i gave the idea a try, only trouble is the top image is the same as the side so the imperfections get stretched and look weird. I will have both avalable though. [ 05-02-2001: Message edited by: Pud ]
  8. Got bored during my lunch hour and knocked this up. No great piece of art, just found a good wood texture to work from. Grab it from my units link on my pages, mind you who ever buys a wooden bunker in a QB, not me --edited typo-- [ 05-02-2001: Message edited by: Pud ]
  9. Felt inspired so I did one during my lunch. Will still have to check it when I get home to see if it runs ok but here is one of the files, cant remember what the above mod looks like.
  10. Absolutely superb job Fernado. When can we get our grubby little hands on it? Im hoping there be a tri-colour to complement your other tri-colour vehicles?
  11. Pink pits? I use the "magic wand" (Paintshop/photoshop) to select that pink colour, then inverse the selection thereby having all other areas selected and then you can apply whatever you like and these pink areas are left alone.
  12. strewth! The mods on my Combat mission is turning into a display case for fernado's work! Keep it up Fernado.
  13. Hello fellow CM loonies. I have redone my web site (see link in sig). All my mods are still available. Have a look, hopefully it looks a bit more professional. Also I intend to do some more work on my tiger mod this weekend so hopefully monday?? Would anyone want to play test the finished mod so as to pickup those grognard errors? PS - its designed (so far) to run best on internet Explorer 5+. Looks crap with netscape at the moment.
  14. FYI my system is P466, 192Mb RAM, 32mb TNT2 and I have almost every mod made, only gets chunky on large battles/maps. So as do as Jarmo suggests, get the lot. ---edit--- but do add each mod one at a time and check what each does/look like as many are variations of the same file --edit ends--- [ 04-26-2001: Message edited by: Pud ]
  15. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by Stryker1: One U.S. Rifle Company enters battle. There are 40 men per platoon or 120 men per company not counting support units. When the battle is over I'll total the number of men left and reoraganize the unit. Say there are 95 men remaining after the battle. This equals two full platoons (HQ, 3 squads) and then the remaining 15 men would become a Platoon HQ(4) and full squad (12).<HR></BLOCKQUOTE> thats a very clever way of doing it, you have put alot of thought into this. I dont envy the workload for yourself put I think it will work very well.
  16. No, still plodding along with it, changed the colour scheme. Just put in on hold for the last week. Thanks for the interest, it helps with the motivation. Latest incarnation, top of hull not done yet hence the image angle.
  17. Read through your rules but you dont mention how you will handle reinforcing depleted units. eg a 12 man squad is down to 3 men. How much of the reinforcement points will be allocated to bring it back to strength. What will be done if such a depleted company is engaged before it is reinforced, will you have to edit the force to account for this before the next battle commences?
  18. Love the campaign concept/rules. Looks very interesting. ---edited in--- Do you intend to do a map for each sector or are they going to be randomly generated each battle? (and perhaps saved after the initial battle in case they are fought in again?) ---end of edit----- [ 04-24-2001: Message edited by: Pud ]
  19. For you mate, will do. Just give me a few weeks
  20. If anyone has a good colour scheme for a tiger they could send me to use in place of this one. I have reduced the saturation but after working on this colour for so long I think my retinas have been burnt out a bit, anything else seems pale now  I got this orange flavour from here ARMOR CAMOUFLAGE & MARKINGS By G. BRADFORD
  21. Yep seen them all, just none really caught my eye, with all due respect to JohnS. Its a personal preference thing I suspect. Colour - I can reduce the saturation of this later if it does end up being too orange (I suspect it is). Probably do a few colour saturation variants to allow choice. (Edit} the colour scheme was always the hard part. [ 04-19-2001: Message edited by: Pud ]
  22. None of the current tigers grabbed me by the short and curlies so I desided to do my own. Ok, the colour scheme is debatable but it is high res. Its made from scratch (except track, hull track is Tigers, main track is BTS original of course) so its taking a very long time around 20 hours to get this far so perhaps in a week? I expect a few hatches are opening the wrong way etc but hopefully there isnt too many errors. Making it from a tamiya model i found [ 04-19-2001: Message edited by: Pud ]
  23. my eyes will stop bleeding each time I visit the forum now. Thanks fellas.
  24. Again these are truely magnificent. Take care with those wrists, be a real shame to loose your skills and what you bring the CM community. (Not to mention the pain you would experience)
