  1. Howdy Dandelion I'd be glad to send you some money to copy and send me copies of some of the maps by snail mail Send me an email at Wayne100@emirates.net.ae Thanks for your help Dang was really hoping to find something on Midtskogen!
  2. One other question can you confirm the type of tanks that landed at Lingayen Gulf in December 1941? As part of the Lingayen force made up of the 4th and 7th Tank Regiments: As far as I can tell they were a mix of Type 95 Kyo-go [Ha-go] Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha Type 1 Chi-He Is this correct?
  3. e, okagesamade Onegai shimasu Do you have any information on the final defense of the 14th Tank Regiment in Luzon Philippines? Do you have any Japanese sources on the Slim river fight in Malaysia?
  4. Hi Michael This map is from the Handbook on German Military Forces, 15 March 1945, TM-E30-451 It might be of some help [ August 29, 2004, 09:58 AM: Message edited by: Hans ]
  5. Hey GaJ Perhaps the Admiral (once re-employed) could either spread out the bullets or use the graphic of a bullet that increases in size. I don't have a problem with the button - there aren't enough reviews being done to make it troublesome!
  6. Well I live in a place rich in dates, sand and camels, care for a bag of sand?
  7. O-genki desu ka? What would be the proper title for a noble Japanese officer, ie a cousin of the house of the Emperor, be during WWII? ie, Prince 2nd Lieutenant Hinado Shimabukuro? or 2nd Lieutenant Prince Hinado Shimabukuro? or something else? Kampai! Dono ariqato gozaimasu
  8. For his outstanding software contribution to the CM gaming community. I recommend even amounts of around 100 to 500 USD, each. I will of course administer this at a minimum cost and will utilize this money to buy a DELUXE thank you card for the man of the hour. Hans
  9. YOU BASTARD I suffered thru making all those duplicate x 3 PanzerBlitz maps and you come up with! Thanks, great software. I just used it for a CMBB to CMAK conversion, worked great. Cmbo-cmak??
  10. Yes I am! I've been stalled by the lack of any small scale maps of these actions (rubbing hands) what do you have in there....a map of the Danish German fights at Haberslev, Abild or Solsted, others? Or the Norwegian fights?
  11. What we do may not be glorious, and we are usually last to be hired, first to be fired, but we make a difference. I, too, have had to translate from engineerese and developerish to English. I'd rather be doing it as opposed to letting an engineer (or worse, an East Indian!?) write the manuals/online help. Thanks for the tip @Hans, Thanks for the tips and resources. You can safely bet that I'll be investigating them and evaluating their feasibility. </font>
  12. Yikes! All of my grandparents hailed from the Frankfurt area of Germany. We are a cool climate people; I'd melt. @Hans, 1) Where can I find out more info regarding these possibilities? Is telecommuting a possibility? III) Do you know anything about telecommuting and taxes as it relates to foreign employment? </font>
  13. water is actually more expensive. in US terms about 76 cents a gallon, but then its made here.
  14. Scheisse, that Sergeant told me their was a good seafood buffet over here... The Divsional staff hits the regulations to determine the proper Teutonic way to hang a laundry line. Soldiers train in hand gestures for the invasion of England.
  15. An American in the Middle East...Hmmm...let me think... Pros: Increased salary, dry climate, change of scenery, meet new people and experience new cultures...not bad. Cons: Potential Decapitation Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll give it a miss, unless I could telecommute. ...and I hadn't even considered the lack of homebrew supplies. </font>
  16. Cool. The middle east has a demand for your second skill not to much for the first (documenting anything concerning customer service is given zilch consideration). Just in case you'd like a radical change of lifestyle
  17. Yep, I'm still here. However, my job is moving to India without me, so 100% of my energy and focus is going into finding gainful employment (not easy in this economy). I'm addressing minor issues that come up at The Scenario Depot, but for the most part I'm pushing off some tasks until I've landed a job. Once I'm employed, I'll begin working on The Scenario Depot v3. </font>
  18. In the background "Well done, well DONE, I must shake your hand, that was the first time I ever saw the jammed breech block of a 240mm howitzer cleared by using a private's head"
  19. yes the follow on to successful games sometimes are horrible I live in fear that Charles will create an improvement I don't like Then I will have to find a new hobby!
  20. Oh yes another comment Wouldn't it be GREAT (if it happened to the other player) if we had bridge weight limits in CMx2!
  21. Ya get up pretty early to beat old Hans to a stale caption
