  1. Abbott, that's a totally tasteless picture. Black shirt with green suspenders, sheesh, buy a color wheel or somfink.
  2. Spent the weekend getting the deer stuff together. Anybody seen my drag rope?
  3. Need the patch so my subs can attack all them damned Allied subs sitting on the Norway route.
  4. That's what I'd do. Have them kick out near Kuwait instead. Of course, if the map is extended down to Aden, all these problems go away...
  5. Hey ... dummy ... read the freaking rules. No email in profile ... no talkie in thread... sheesh ... goober nationals, "Will no one rid me of this turbulent pest?" Joe </font>
  6. I'm so modding that Red Cross to read "pining for the fjords".
  7. Thought it was a bit odd to see the Seigfreid Line manned with them. Even odder when the later ones started showing up at Inf 3, AT 2 and Mobilization 2. On whole, I'd rather have the Engineers back.
  8. Actually, I think a tin snips would make Berli sound like Seanachai. Give it a shot, 'gwon, I double dog dare you.
  9. Not going for bluebills this year? C'mon, camo up and take that kayak out on Lake of the Woods in a snowstorm. You know you want to.
  10. True. But on the other hand, if the guy knows you like bombers, you can force him to waste 200-400 mpp on AA.
  11. Try Bombers sometime, they rock. Bomb the snot out of Paris and Brest and the Axis can't bring in reinforcements to stop D-Day. The UK Bomber is very important in the early game to close down ports and delay a Sealion. Later, you can close down the Nordic convoys by bombing Kiel (Long Range req'd). Lots of nasty things for the Axis to do also. Rockets, they've never really been worth the cost to me compared to Bombers. Plus, they don't spot other units. And there's no maintenance cost on ships. You should always try to save them by moving them out of harm's way. You might want to reinforce them later and they take forever to build.
  12. Take Norway, install Bomber or AF to clear. The North Sea approaches were blockaded pretty much just the way you mention. Along with a few million mines. Remember, the subs of the time did have to come up once in awhile. It's nice to see Hubert is changing it though. What exactly are you changing Hubert? A chance subs won't automatically "stick"?
  13. It reminds us all of your days as the 98 lb weakling. Oh, you mean help you.
  14. Er, you got a source for that Blashy? Everything I've read puts AP of some sort as the top killer, followed by mines, infantry and the ever popular mechanical breakdown.
  15. Happy Birthday Peng Remember, you're not growing older, you're…well, yes you are.
  16. For 1, check the weather. Carriers can't fly planes in stormy seas. 2, dunno.
