  1. Still too early. Once you finished all your games you can ask to have the scores spreadsheet e-mailed to you, but to get a really accurate comparison its best to wait until all the scores are in.

  6. Send scenario results to me: sc112265@bellsouth.net Send AARs to Holien: Holien(at)9woodford(dot)Clara(Dot)Co.uk Here is more info on AARs: AAR UPDATE PLEASE READ ---> IMPORTANT INFORMATION Great news people are starting to send in their AAR's. Bad news is that I need you to provide a set header as explained below: - Please right at the start of the AAR very clearly do the following: - 1. Your Player Name (this is what you signed upto the tourney as.) 2. Your opponents Player Name. 3. Your Group and Section. 4. The name of the Scenario. 5. Your E-mail Address for responses about the AAR. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS I will e-mail you and ask you to re submit it. I do not have the time to try and find out who you are. I need to file it as it arrives quickly and with the minimum of bother. There are far too many of you and games to add this potential burden! Please also send the AAR's direct to me. Do not send it to Kingfish or Spanish Bombs and expect them to send it on. We are trying to keep the flow of work to a minimum. All AAR's can be sent here: - Holien(at)9woodford(dot)Clara(Dot)Co.uk N.B. The AAR prize is open to all players who play the scenarios during the timeframe of ROW and write an AAR and submit it to me using the guidelines above. (It is not eligable to staff). We will be judging them on style, content and message. It does not have to be perfect English but you need to convey the message and we will try our best to understand you if English is not your first language. If in doubt please ask friends or native English speakers to check it for Typo's and use of language. We will not be judging it on spelling but on what it is saying and we need to understand what the author has typed! UK / US English differences will be tolerated. Any questions e-mail me. KF can you cut and paste this into the rules? H [ March 09, 2004, 02:22 PM: Message edited by: Kingfish ]

  9. Arty barrages that are plotted on the first turn are considered prep barrages. These have no firing delay, and are accurate even if the spotter does not have LOS to the target. However, they cannot be cancelled nor shifted to a new target.
  10. 13. Think of it as the amount of firepower that unit projects at a given target from a certain distance. It is an abstracted value, in other words it does not represent the actual number of bullets shot at an enemy per volley. As for how high can it go, for the most part the listing at 40 meters is the max. However, in certain cases it may actually exceed that by a fair amount. For instance, an elite squad may have a FP value of 293 at 40 meters. Now place them in command of a headquarters with +2 combat bonus and the FP ratings may go up another 20 or 30 points.
  14. Good lord! This comes as a pleasant surprise. Thanks for the review, and you are right, I should submit it to the depot. Perhaps this weekend. Again, thanks for taking the time to play it, and for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  15. C'mon Elmar, show me some signs of life. I don't want to replace you but i'll be forced to if I don't hear from you soon.
  16. During the order phase of each turn you can manually select what target your tank will engage, and it will give you a hit percentage as well as what chance (rare, good, etc) it believes it has at killing the target. However, keep in mind that your tank may simply disregard your orders and shoot at something else. The TAC A.I. will determine which tank is the best target (based on hit / kill percentage), or bigger threat, and target those instead.
  17. Guys, Please do me (and your opponents) a favor. If you find yourself without internet access please find a way to drop me a line saying so. I will then pass the message on to your opponents. E-mail me from work, or from a friend's computer, or phone your sister in Boise and have her e-mail me, whatever works. A simple "lost my ISP, have contacted blah, blah, blah..." is all thats needed. Remember that my e-mail address (sc112265@bellsouth.net) is listed both in my profile and at Boots and Tracks, which you can access thru my sig. Thanks

  20. Elmar, I've just sent you an e-mail. Hopefully it gets through to you. I need to hear from you asap If there anyone here that can pass a message to him? Please contact me at sc112265@bellsouth.net Thanks
  21. Yes. A %#@*% huge problem! Elmar has been MIA since before the tourney started, and I fear I may have to replace him. In addition, Spineripper has also disappeared. I picked a fine time to stop sniffing glue! With regards to your postings - keep truckin', baby.

  24. John, You have to take into account what effect that kind of spotter would have from a gaming standpoint. As junk2drive pointed out, whats the point of playing a scenario if your opponent can wipe out your reinforced battalion in 2 turns with only one click of the mouse? Keep in mind that real life FOs did not have the luxury of borg-like spotting, nor the ability to scout every inch of the battlefield (including enemy held territory) from ground level.
  25. Already did. The pic showing the burned out Tiger is from a battle that is featured on the CD - 'Knifefight at Cecina' BTW, I noticed something odd in one of the articles listed on my site. Check out the 'German 88mm in the Libyian battle' article and scroll down to the editors notes. Only 98mm penetration at 100 meters?
