  1. The same with a panther happend to me in a quickbattle against 5 Stuarts and Infantry. The Panther liked to shell the Infantry more than the Stuarts. They flanked him and knocked him out. Hmmm, perhaps the Tanks should more concentrate on other tanks, if they have seen any. They should be more careful to other tanks. Jochen
  2. i noticed also, that in quick battles the AI often "rushes" to my flags. Especially with infantry. On the other side, in most cases this was the only change they had (depending on the landscape). In DYO-Scenarios i´m very satisfied with the AI. A very fine game! Greetings Jochen

  5. Thank you very much for your answer! In the mean time i tried to change the "controlzones" of the mapedges. It seems to me, since i changed the north edge into neutral (before allied) the tanks behave in the right manner (still to prove it again). Perhaps it belongs to the "ownership" of the mapedges. The tanks try to face the enemy always with their front armor. So, in my scenario, it could be, that the tanks are turning to move into the curve leading to the north with their front to the enemy in the south. Would make sense, but not, as in my case, if the LOS of the enemy is blocked by wood and pines. As i could see in the first game after the changing, the tanks try to turn again, when the road is curving again to the east (wich is set to axis). I´ll check it again. Thanks a lot. Jochen

  7. i wanted to post the same theme. Mostly Hetzers don´t use their MG. Even StuGs don´t use their MGs anymore, when their maingun is damaged. Jochen

  9. i wrote something wrong above. The road is leading from the west to the east and then turns to the south. (east, west, south, noth .... arrrrghhhhhhh!!!) Jochen
  10. I´m a big DYO-scenario fan. I did a map, were the US have to attack from the west/north to the south/east. A road is leading trough a dense forest (from the west to the south)- this road leads to a victory flag. The trick (for the defensiv player) is, that near to the middle of my map, this road, can be watched by the defender about a length of 100-150 meters. (it´s cool to watch the US Tank platoon roaring along this street). The tanks moving along the street, (to the east) can be watched from the south. As expected, the germans are firing to the tankcolumn. And now it happends: The whole column (5 tanks) are turning at once (like some dancers) their backside to the east and rewinding along the street, wich goes into a curve leading to the north and then again curves to the east, where a german unit is sitting in ambush position. The US tanks a arriving at that ambush point with their BACKSIDES to the enemy!!!!! They still try to rush along the street with their backside - they all are be killed by my 50mm PAK, hitting them in the rear!!! What´s going on here - why do those tanks make this turn?????????????? Has anybody seen this, too??? What can i do, or better, what did i wrong??? Is this a bug, wich belongs to the pathfinding??? I never saw this before, nearly every thing is done well by the AI - but this backside party is really strange!! Hope to get some answers. Greetings Jochen

Sure, Fos need a LOS, so they have to be near the fighting - but running straight to the enemy position, across open field like a fanatic squad - close assaulting the enemy??? Well, most times, the AI did it well - so, no big thread. Thanks for your answers!! Jochen
  12. Same to me! I had made such rocking battles wich such a lot of cool "movielike" situations, that i wanna see them again and again. Please give us this moviefeature!!!! Please, please, please! (not enough, that we stressed Steve and Charles with our crying for release, now the crying goes on, doesn´t it?) Jochen

  14. Hi all, after playing like a maniac over the weekend (my girlfriend hates me errrm, this game) i´m absolutely happy with this game. It rocks!!! But, i saw several times, Arty Spotters running straight into enemy fire - like it was in the Beta. It seems to me, they do it, when they are a member of platoons, who are embarked in a transporter. Do they try to join them, after disembarked????? I saw it in a DYO-scenario several times, after deploying the Spotter to a "foot"-unit HQ they did their job very well!!! Has anybody an answer to me? Again, it´s the best wargame i ever played, the AI rocks, the editor is wonderful - thanks a lot, BTS! Greetings Jochen

  18. I´m getting angry!!! Wednesday morning 10.00 - still no CM. Damned, Damned,Damned!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr-Whaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrghhhhhh!!! I tried everything to have enough free time this week - and IT doesn´t arrive. The last time i had this feeling, was as little boy on Christmas. Jochen

  20. Even if so - Steve, Charles and all the others should stay independent!!!!!!!!! The oeconomical situation is very important for any company - but to be free in your decisions is important too - as we saw with CM. BTS go on! And if we can by bonds - please let me know.   21. I loved CC2. CC disappointed me. But with CC2 i was really happy. I planned too, to make those scenarios with CM - but i´m still waiting to get my copy. Very good job!!! Jochen P.S. Wich scenario was your favourite one?

  23. I think it´s the soundcard. The same happend to me after installing the old software of an ordinary sound blaster AWe 64. After this point, CM locked up (the Gold Demo) after playing several rounds. It locked always up in the order-phase. I reinstalled WIN 98. This helped, cause those old (and new) drivers were killed. Jochen
  24. A lot of "brothers" asked this question for a "Moviemaker". As i read in this forum, this will be made by BTS as an additional "bonus". So, let´s hope that Steve and Charles will have the time to do so. It would be wonderful to habe such a moviemaker. Jochen
