Do your own icon. Put it under the required folder with the same name. Shazaam. Women are not creepy BTW. If yours are just creepy you're rather lucky.

Perfect then. Thanks to all who made this possible. Now I can spell Ease of Use. Congrat also to CMHQ and its bloated hard disks for hosting this and thus allowing MODs and CMMOS to spread. May you be French in your next life...

Will there be any model-to-bitmap support in CMBB?
PawBroon replied to Tiger's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
It's Voidhawk MOD. Very cool. Not always useful but a tool of the trade indeed. As for Steve, I don't think he was saying that I suggested someone ought to reverse engineer the code. BTS might do a little somefink to help us. Most games I play have such utilities. But loading CM is a reflex so it's not too bad... -
Anyone ever make reverse camo mods?
PawBroon replied to HVAP's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Great job John!! Now those babies wouldn't pale compared to Mike's Field guns. Arghhhhhhhhhh I wan't them!! 40 and 90AA need your love too. It was considered gamey to play with your MODs till you had a chance to upgrade them even. Damn I'm glad you're back. We had to cope up with Gordon Molek and Marco Bergman and pretend they had talent. Sheesh. -

Well, since this was released, nobody crossed the line. Nobody complained either. -

It's easy in Half Life and its MODs because the MODels are external files. That would be for example, M4A1.mdl. Those mdl files are the mesh and the anims plus the skin which is a simple compiled BMP. CM is not that open since the models are coded in the exe. So BTS will have to be the one offering an external viewer. -

Aren't Ghost Tanks doing Edge Hugging gamey? What I'd like would be an external viewer for Models. A la Half Life Model Viewer which simplifies MODing and testing without launching the game just to check 2 pixels. Now that would be cool on the MODers and thus for all of us... -
Lookin' for MODs in all the wrong places.....
PawBroon replied to The ol one eye.'s topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Chaffee will be by Marco Bergman. So I, for one, am holding my breath. Pershing is next after the Archer which I am currently tweaking before release... -

Badger by DesertFox at Der Kessel. Archer by some Frog at Der Kessel later on. Cromwell by Tiger at Tom's HQ Challenger by Tiger at Tom's HQ Chaffee by Tiger et al at Tom's HQ or at CombatMission Brit Uniform by DD or AndrewTF at Tom's HQ Allies AA Guns by Tiger at Tom's HQ... -

Not that I have heard of. Nothing on the Beta Files... Maybe someone will jump on your idea. -

Glad you liked the site and considered it useful. The FlakPanzers are to be posted later on this week. The Pic Of The Week is just a Teaser really. Now it's not teasing much since they took their FTP servers and sites down for planned maintenance. But there was an image. And hopefully they kick themselves in tender parts and all will be back up on line in no times. -
This week pic is one from Gordon Molek. He is doing the FlakPz with the usual excellence we've come to expect from such a MODer. As usual, please remember MODers thrive on feedback. Thank you Gordon for this new MOD and its winterized sidekick.

Could be but Saturnin swears it's Magua's. That's why I love to do my own screen shots. That way I know what's on the screen...
-
Not my screen shot so I don't know for sure but I would say either Magua's or Pud's. I'll ask to Saturnin if he remembers what MOD is it.
-
I'm glad you like it. I do have plans for this site. Some I've told to fellow MODers. Others to fellow Webmasters. And lastly some I've told to somefink while drunk yesterday but it might have been a lamp post. So there will be more and more to come but never files. As it is I'm already at 10% of its max size while a long way from completion. As for your Finnish Stug, I love it. If I may it's better than your Tan one. But as I said somewhere on the site previously, Total Conversions will be done later on separately... That and Terrain/Buildings is a tough nut to crack and I'll finish the whole range of vehicles and uniforms before proceeding to those.

Who has 'modded'/got field grey German AFVs
PawBroon replied to Apache's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Bfamily33 and Tiger did quite a bunch. You'll find them at: CMHQ Tom's HQ Last Defense -
Just changed the Incoming section to archive January. Now for all of you 56Kers, it should load faster. The ever Watchful Marcus Bloess told me I had forgotten Bfamily33's Stug. This was fixed also. Thanks for all of you guys for your feedback and ideas.

New " BATTLE OF THE BULGE " mod ! ( large pics inside )
PawBroon replied to a topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
This pic is from the English side of the scenario called Bure. This way you could compare with the Deep Snow Alaskan winter you might have on your comps... This BUMPing Service was provided by MODs & MODers. [ February 03, 2002, 03:31 AM: Message edited by: PawBroon ] -
Can it be a restaurant or somefink?

No mail that I remember of. All others are coming quite faithfully so I guess you do have a problem here.

The difficulties of MODing?

Nice to see you advertizing your MODs again Tiger. I mean, how could I review MODs and stop saying Tiger thrice in it? -
Saturnin's first MOD. He is about to release it. And some variants...

Thanks for the service Ted. Isn't more than one French already too many French?
