I really don't feel like I much deserve this one, I just had 60 seconds of happy bazooka and a few shots that penetrated but didn't kill a vehicle on my side. I'd call it even. [ 01-25-2002: Message edited by: Ligur ]

Ligur, A few good penetrations will make any bazooka happy!
 2.
quote:
Originally posted by Leta: Hey Ted! We are in the second Round! Now, we can post our Mighty Mouse AAR's to see what kind of stupid, strange or clever strategies we used. But, no more AAR's on Blood'n'Steel by the moment. White4 and me are experiencing some kind of technical problems. The last two files he sent were useless for me  I'll starts a thread in the Technical Forum asking for a solution. Please read it and see if somebody knows what's happen.

Leta, Yup, I encourage everybody to provide AARs for Blind Man's Bluff, Mighty Mouse, and Medium Rare. For Down in the Valley, please keep things as vague as possible. That scenario will be used throughout the tournament. Also, I'll swing over to the tech. forum later.
 3. Apache, The only answer you are ever going to get is: "When it's done." That's not meant to be a smug reply. Rather, it's just the way the guys do things at BFC. They don't rush things along because of some arbitrary deadlines. Instead, they take the time to get things right and release their products when they are satisfied with them. Considering how good CMBO is, I think it is safe to say they will probably get it right again.
 4. Due to time constraints, CombatGeneral has bowed out of the Newbie Tournament. As a result, DStone advances to Round 2. Congratulations to DStone!
 5. I would like to take this opportunity to extend a "Thank you!" to vadr. Despite being eliminated, he is contining to maintain the tournament brackets. So, let's hear it for vadr!
 6. More results from the GV Newbies: Ligur (French) defeated Vadr (German) by a score of 58-42 in Mighty Mouse. So, Ligur wins Round 1 with an overall score of 110-90 and advances to Round 2. Congratulations to Ligur!
 7.
quote:
Originally posted by Vader's Jester: Com'mon round two! "To the last that I grapple with thee. For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee."

VJ, The FCC strictly forbids quoting Star Trek and Lord of the Rings in the same post.
 8.
quote:
Originally posted by Urban Shocker: I was wondering if every week or two until the release of CMBB, we (the dedicated "fanboys") could receive some eye candy in the the form of new screenshots. Not much...just 4-6 per week just to keep the blood simmering before the heat gets turned up. Is this possible?

US, Possible? Yes. Likely? No. It is unlikely the boys at BFC have the time (or the screenshots, for that matter) to spend on such frequent presentations. Don't worry, they will be sharing when they can.
 9. Chad, Actually there will be absolutely no shooting in CMBB. Somebody could get hurt.
 10. More results from the Newbie Rejects: Donkey Hotay (German, 52) and Bruce Bowes (French, 48) played to a draw in Mighty Mouse. So, Donkey Hotay wins Round 1 with an overall score of 122-78 and advances to Round 2. Congratulations to Donkey Hotay!
 11.
quote:
Originally posted by Fieldmarshall: ...why am I only hearing about it now?

FM, Because the email he sent to me to announce the grand opening never got through.
 12. More results from the SuperNewbie Alternates: Dinga (German) defeated Bruce Robert (British), 82-18, in Medium Rare. Congratulations to Dinga!
 13.
quote:
Originally posted by PawBroon: They wash?

PB, I was not aware of that.
 14. PawBroon dispels rumors about the French at MODs & MODers.
 15. More results from the GV Newbies: Eric Alkema (French) defeated Major Catastrophe (German) by a score of 58-42 in Mighty Mouse. 17.
quote:
Originally posted by Hiram Sedai: ...I'm still waiting for dating tips from Mensch and Andreas.

HS, I was not aware that Mensch and Andreas were officially dating. Congratulations all around!
 18. Yes it's a day late, but there's still good stuff to be found at Der Kessel.
 19. Well, I am finally able to make the big announcement I have been hinting at making for a few weeks now. Thanks to the guys at Battlefront.com, the Newbie Tournaments now have prizes for the winners! Each of the four group winners will win a special Battlefront.com Panther G print. So, that's one for each of the winners from the SuperNewbies, the GV Newbies, the Newbie Rejects, and the Alterna Bowl. But, wait! There's more! The above four winners will enter the Newbie Finals to determine who the Ultimate Newbie is! The Ultimate Newbie will receive the ENTIRE SET of prints from Battlefront.com! If you would like to take a look at the prizes, go here. Enjoy and good luck to all! [ 01-22-2002: Message edited by: SuperTed ]

 20. Hobo and I finished our scenario. I imagine he will be posting an AAR here soon...
 21.
quote:
Originally posted by PawBroon: And who would you be? You should whip SuperTed. I dropped him a mail before going public. It says Madmatt twice I think mind you... Somewhere. Might be with the naked pic! Or not.

PB, No email received. However, if you'd like me to whoop it up for you, feel free to send ( tedquincey@yahoo.com ) something I can post.
 22.
quote:
Originally posted by R.C.: I would like to thank SuperTed for a GREAT scenario and DD_Rob for playing it with me. That was my first ever internet game, I'm now hooked, God help me! I am curious to know what strategies other players use when playing this scenario. Great Fun!

R.C. is referring to "Down in the Valley." Since I am using this scenario throughout the tournament for "special" circumstances (eg. tie-breakers, etc.), all I ask is that you not give away vital information. Thanks.
 23. More results from the SuperNewbie Alternates: R.C. (German) defeated DD_Rob (US), 73-27, in Down in the Valley. Congratulations to R.C.!
