  1. So, I found a package in my mailbox today. I noticed it was from Switzerland and immediately assumed it was from Walker. When I opened it, I found a large gingerbread pastry inside. I must say those Swiss know their desserts. Thanks, Chris. I believe we now have a winner for the tournament.
  2. Jim Liang has become a casualty of Real Life. Smoky will step into his place. Welcome aboard, Smoky!
  3. The match-ups have been updated on page 1. I hope all is going well in Mix and Match.
  4. voidhawk, Agreed, but I included it more for the background effect than anything else. [ August 23, 2002, 12:57 AM: Message edited by: SuperTed ]
  5. The German players have received the scenario file for "Mix and Match." I hope you have enjoyed the break. To the Final Four: All of you have made it this far in part because you have successfully adapted your playing style to my scenario design style. That will no longer help you...
  6. Chris, "...I assume Ted is still following his quest for symmetry..." I'll have to fix that.
  7. Scipio has a great new mod on display at WarfareHQ. Get some of the details at CMHQ.
  8. Dinga, Very nice. This AAR thread is really getting some great reading material.
  9. Lee, Hmmm, that would be useful...not for me either.
  10. TH Forums-CMBO has more fascinating tips to share. Get all the details at CMHQ. [ August 10, 2002, 11:33 PM: Message edited by: SuperTed ]
  11. ROFLMAO! As praise had no effect - let's see whether this strategy will motivate him. Straha</font>
  12. SSSSSSSSSsssssssssmack! (Hubert hits the floor after getting smacked in the back of the head)
  13. More results from the Alterna Brawl: Dinga (47, German) and Darknight_Canuck (39, US) played to a draw in Low Ground. So, Dinga wins the AlternaBrawl and advances to the Newbie Final Four! Congratulations to Dinga!
  14. Guys, Bill sent me a save file and I was able to find the answer to his question. When a unit attempts to enter a hex that is adjacent to two enemy units, it pays a +1 movement penalty.
  15. Guys, First, Madmatt did not pose for the CD-cover art... Second, the French (and British, for that matter) spread out their tanks in infantry-support roles, hence the lack of armor-only units. Yes, the French tanks were superior in many respects to the German tanks of the time, hence the +1 tech in heavy tanks.
  16. More results from the GV Newbies: Walker (German) defeated Jim Liang (US) by a score of 55-38 in The Crucible. This was not enough for Walker to overtake Jim Liang's lead from the first leg of the Group Finals. So, Jim Liang wins the GV Newbie Group with an overall score of 97-92 and advances to the Newbie Final Four! Congratulations to Jim Liang!
  17. CvM, First, it's spelled "wap." Second, let's be careful about what we call people here. I am sure our Italian players would not appreciate your choice. Also, there are the forum rules to consider...
  18. Willgamer, That definitely does not sound right. Would you happen to have a screen shot forom it?
  19. Will, It works fine here. What problems are you having?
  20. VJ, Actually, I meant I am planning for all three to be released as a set. With all the extra goodies, I am sure that will be awesome! Software is frequently released on Tuesdays. I don't know why, but that's what I have seen.
