  1. More results from the GV Newbies: Leta (Canadian) defeated White4 (German), 73-27, in Give and Take. Congratulations to Leta!
  2. Scott, Good. Also, I believe it's your turn to do the dishes.
  3. Keith Medlin has a great idea for a CM newsletter.
  4. Only two spots remain. Keep those emails coming.
  5. As a playtester for RoW, I highly recommend these scenarios. They provide a balance of fun and challenges. Go get 'em! [ February 09, 2002, 03:43 AM: Message edited by: SuperTed ]
  6. Yeah, Ted; Bug'em. He's not answering my e-mail. I know he is busy with work, but I don't think one PBEM turn a day is too much to ask. </font>
  7. HANDS OFF SuperTed - you have enough on your plate! Unless of course, you're already on staff...which would not surprise me...</font>
  8. Scott "Scott B." Boston has joined Boots & Tracks as a tester/designer. Scott is an experienced CM player with a preference for historically-accurate scenarios. He also has extensive playtesting experience with miniatures wargaming. As a bonus, he wrote his undergraduate thesis on Soviet operational art in WWII! So, please join me in welcoming Scott aboard.
  9. DD, Sorry, but we are only doing CMBO for now.
  10. Panzerman keeps his team focused at The Scenario Zone.
  11. Rob, You can never have too much of a good thing.
  12. Well, we seem to be the hottest ticket in town. Jeff "jwxspoon" Weatherspoon has joined Boots & Tracks as a tester/designer. Jeff has been playing CM for about a year and has done some informal playtesting. He has also produced some fine scenarios of his own. So, please join me in welcoming Jeff aboard.
  13. Do I have to do everything around here? Well, no, but I do anyway.
  14. Boots & Tracks is looking to expand its line-up of playtester/designers. We currently have five on the team and would like to add four more. What does it take to be a playtester/designer for Boots & Tracks? Well, there are just a few requirements: 1) Dedication-we are looking for somebody who will be with the team for a while. 2) Consistency-you will be asked to playtest many sceanrios and you will be expected to accept and complete most of those assignments. 3) Honesty-despite working with some of the best people in the business, mistakes will be made. It is the responsibility of the playtester to find those mistakes and report them. This is the key to designing great scenarios. 4) Team Attitude-Boots & Tracks is not about personal accolades. It is about working as a team to produce great scenarios. 5) Experience-we need people who have seen CM from many angles. What will help you here is playing the AI, playing PBEM and TCP/IP, designing scenarios, and playtesting scenarios. The emphasis is on scenarios, not Quick Battles. 6) Flexibility-if you feel the urge to do some scenario design, you will be in company of many who will be happy to help. So, if you feel like you have what it takes to join our growing team, email me at tedquincey@yahoo.com. Thank you.
  15. BG, Your wish will be granted no later than next weekend.
  16. Well, after several grueling negotiating sessions, the details have been finalized! Frank "Franko" Radoslovich has joined the Boots & Tracks team as a designer/tester. Please join me in welcoming him aboard. The B&T scenario design stable now includes the heavy hitters "Wild Bill," "Rune," and "Franko," along with the other great team members that help make our scenarios the top-notch works they are. I think big things are on the horizon here.
  17. VJ, Just let me know if you'd like me rattle Austin's cage.
  18. Seanachai, Thank you, sir. I hope we are able to give both of you (and everybody else) many good reasons to keep get out of bed in the morning.
