PB, According to the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), "Schizophrenia is a disturbance that lasts for at least 6 months and includes at least 1 month of active-phase symptoms (i.e., two [or more] of the following: delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior, negative symptoms)." So, to answer your question, aside from the ocassional hallucinations, there is no schizophrenia here. Now, Dissociative Identity Disorder is another story... The time is upon us! Boots & Tracks is officially back in the scenario designing and testing business! To start the new chapter of B&T history, we have a scenario called "Hello Second Armored" that is being playtested. This one comes to you compliments of Frank "Franko" Radoslovich. Here is my AAR for the scenario I played against Bobbaro. The name of the scenario was "Give and Take." Denny's came under attack by what appeared to be Canadians who wanted the restaurant chain to open in their country. Well, they chose the wrong crowd to anger. As patrons came pouring (well, they were actually shuffling rather slowly) out of the restaurant, reinforcements were called. The initial silver-haired warriors were told to slow the advancing marauders from the north while defensive positions could be established behind them. The frontline boys (uh, that's a stretch) displayed great heroism, only needing one nap during the course of the battle. As the battle raged, one tour bus after another deposited reinforcements nearby. After much grumbling and several precious minutes spent sorting out walkers, dentures, and panzerfausts, they made their way forward to join their comrades holed up in Denny's. The pesky Canadians pushed hard and sent their best troops, but they did not expect to meet the wrath of Denny's Best! Today, much blood was spilled on both sides, but what will be remembered was that Denny's remains free (of Canadians) today because of the bravery shown by of the near-fanatical defenders on that day.

VJ, Actually, the final scenario is called Rolling Thunder. :eek:

Apache, I don't want to rain on your parade, but the AI is VERY weak on the attack. It does not coordinate its units and often leads with HQs and even FOs! If you play against the AI, I suggest letting it defend.

Rob, Hey, a 50-50 score against the AI is hard to accomplish as a scenario designer. It sounds like this one is dead on.

Guys, Once all the scores have been submitted for Give & Take, I'll determine what the best way is to handle things. In the meantime, I really do appreciate the feedback and discussions. It gives me (and others) a chance to get a good feel for people's opinions. Thanks.

VJ, Great report! If you (or anybody else) would like to have a go at this monster, I have tweaked it a bit based on your battle. Also, there is a PBEM and an AI version, so everybody can play.

Wollstonecraft, Since you just registered at the forum, I am going to assume you received the game recently. So, you do not need a patch! The game you received should be version 1.12, the most recent version that exists. So, I suggest you get rid of the patch you installed. If that doesn't work, uninstall and re-install the game. If you don't know what version you have, look at the bottom right corner of the main splash screen. Enjoy!
