Savage tweaker 3.11 is released and may help thicken the fog for you Savage 4 card owners. I still dont get a big difference between the FOG and THICK FOG settings. I came to the conclusion that I don't want to be in the scenario making buisness, which is alot harder than I thought. I Just dont have the resources for the accuracy I desire. Wild Bill, if you look at a German made map, the spelling is KOLN, with those funny two dots over the O. If you look at an American made map of Germany it is spelled Cologne. I think most of the city was destroyed when the ground troops moved thru. But I know there was some serious door to door fighting with fanatical Volksturm units controlling the city. Maybe a small-medium sized map with all city street fighting in down town Koln. Actually, I tried to make such a scenario already, but I have no historical data other than a quick overview of the desperate German volksturm. I also tried to do the map based on my actual visit to Cologne, but it was over 10 yeras ago and I just cant remember that much detail on the city. I can send you what I have and you can work with it or scrap it. Or you can just say "Hey DEF, you idiot, nobody wants to play a Cologne scenario." Hehe, I figured you would be studying that swamp pretty hard. A mere slim advantage (chuckles evilly). I didn't check it out to long before I made my purchase. trying to get things moving as quickly as possible for us. I am looking over it now. It seems LOS is better than I had originally predicted. I just finished playing 4 combined arms and 3 armor scenarios with various settings and troop level expirience. I must say my favorite is still the very first scenario I played when I got the game in the mail. "Sherbrooke Fusiliers" Frickn' **** blowin up every where from turn one. Jeff really played a fine game. Although my bombers did some serious damage, I think the deciding factor in the game were my Crack Sturmgroupe platoons. They took a serious beating and continued to advance without even flinching. I felt out numbered 2 to 1 in the infantry battle, yet some how my men pulled it out. Thanks for a very tough fight Jeff. I was checking out my error log and noticed that one of the lines says No AGP But in fact my system does have an AGP x2 with a 32MB video card installed. Does this mean that CM does not recognize my AGP port? Could I possibly need a BIOS upgrade? I know there is a new version out for my ASUS P2B main board but the version I use now has been virtually bug free so I stuck with it.

This very well may be the hardest game I have ever played. I never once, sarting from turn 1, ever felt in control, or safe. Bombers may do alot of damage, but they don't provide a protective fire or cover that your infantry needs to advance. And I needed that in this game (map). It is by no means finished. There is no way to determine who the winner will be until the last turn, which is oddley enough, only one turn away.

Watts; Make sure you know where your extracting to. All you have to do is replace the old files in your CM folder, with the new ones you just extracted. It's that simple.

Turn 15 Oh ya... Those bombers are really pounding Jeff hard. Thay have knocked out 3 of his tanks. Despite, it's still a dead even match. We are both moving to the objective. I have never seen so much artillery fall as this. No where is safe to stay over 1 turn. This is going to be a very close game. If my planes wouldn't have shown up, Jeff would have walked away with it easy.

Klink; I play at 1024x768 too. I think the game looks good at that res. Runs good for me too.

Madd Matt; Twice I was disconnected tonite during the set up phase. The disconnect message said it was auto saved, but when I went to reload the game there was no saved file. So I had to totally regenrate a quick battle with the same settings. Is this supposed to happen?
