Maybe the chat button should go to the top
of the battle front forum tree. As it is now, it jumps straight into the general thread. Which means a lot of people are unaware of the other CM forums.

Actually my PC has a very Aqua like OS look - courtesy of a skin

Different setups for movie and orders phase. Ie I always turn flags off when movie watching , and I set unit scale to realistic, whereas is in the orders phase I scale units up to level 2, and turn bases and flags on.
Configuarble camera presets and one more upward view (Shift+A) setting.
Being able to pan and left and right whilst locked to a unit.
A Ultra FOW option, where you can't tell what experience a unit has. I mean how would you know a Tnak is green or Elite?

G400 is a great card,a tad expensive though. It also runs very hot, make sure you have cood case ventilation, so you don't get memory corruptiuon from heat and lockups.

EAX is pretty lame, its basicly another name for reverb
I dunno makes everything sound muddy to me, all the sounds in CM already have reverb, don't need to add anymore.ccj

Sgt Morgue - ATI cards are more prevalent on MACs, cause that's what they get as standard in a mac. That's why BTS had them in mind. Now I'm not so sure about PC side of things.
In my opinion, ATI drivers aren't that crash hot either. I wouldn't get anything less than a TNT 2 Ultra 32 meg card right now. But even a TNT2 ultra is a tad on the slow side now, compared to the Geforce and V5500 etc.
My system (p3 550 non-coppermine) and a TNT2 (non ultra) really slows down a lot when the smokes start pouring on
