  5. Not dusty enough. I have a big massive book on the Shermans and there is a chapter on the desert. At times the OD paint was nearly covered with dust. There is even a pic of a Sherman where the CO painted with a broom mud over OD. I would love to see that one done. MikeT
  6. I took a look at this. Andrew the palm with the swastika almost appears hollow to me. Patboy's is solid....... Well that is all to me. Mind you both a possible. One website I found seems to show that the DAK symbols varied widely. Almost no standard at all. MikeT
  7. Now I am getting scared! Don't know what to tell you. Maybe it is because I am using a PC and you a Mac, but even then why? MikeT
  8. Oops, sorry it was a long day at working on txt files. I was getting punchy. Obviously meant South Africans. Anyway, there are 00100000 and 00080000 range wav files, at least on my PC. At first I thought the 0010000 was for US Army but then I found 00050000 and it sound "more" like US. SO I assumed taht the 0010000 was for Canada. Then again maybe it is "used" in the game, but why would it be there? Some body at BFC, can you help??? MikeT
  9. I have been looking at the sound files. I think I have figure out what voices are for what nation. 00030000+ =German 00040000+ =French 00050000+ =USA 00060000+ =Italy 00070000+ =South American 00080000+ =Brit 00090000+ =French 00100000+ =Canadian Does anyone disagree?? I need to know for CMMOS purposes. Mike
  10. Need to make sure but to make a vehicle bmp work in snow do you simply as a 6 to the front OR replace the 1 with a 6 MikeT
  11. Sorry, should have mentioned that I am doing CMMOS for CMAK. I do need this bmp list if it is available. So far the rest is going along nicely. MikeT
  12. I am starting on the artillery bmp lists for CMAK. Has anyone determine what bmp goes for what artillery yet? If so please email me a copy ASAP. MikeT miket6065@sbcglobal.net
  13. Amazing boat, it really is the little things that do dress up this game. I wish Battlefront would do a Pacific game. Imagine what a HR landing craft would look like after Marco finished with it! MikeT
  14. Concertina wire is what it should have been called. MikeT
  15. I have one for CMBO in CMMOS. Contact me and I will send over some screenshots. miket6065@sbcglobal.net MikeT
  16. Well I have a list for uniforms and a list of vehicles but only the first bmp for each. The terrain has also been done but not rechecked yet. I did notice that many of the items in CMAK that match CMBB use the same bmp numbers, flags for instance. There does seem to be a method to the madness, an actual plan! MikeT
  17. For those CMMOS fans I have started on support for CMAK. I have help from Gurra in Sweden who has done the terrain filelists. I got the rulesets figure out and have the uniform filelists done. Next up are the vehciles. Fortunately many bmps are the same between CMBB and CMAK, or so it seems. Does make sense in many ways. But I still have to check things. I have the spreadsheets for the vehicles and AndrewTF sent over his uniform spreadsheet. But I do have an open call for anyone out there that has the list of other bmps or even ways please send them over to me at: miket6065@sbcglobal.net On the rulelists, some complained about the number in CMBB/CMMOS. I have kept this in mind and have kept the rulesets as small as possible. Here is what I am using: RuleSet001_British_CW_Vehicles_Africa RuleSet002_British_CW_Vehicles_Italy RuleSet003_British_CW_Vehicles_Winter RuleSet005_British_Uniforms RuleSet006_Commonwealth_Uniforms RuleSet008_Darknights_British_Division_Project RuleSet010_Italian_Vehicles RuleSet015_Italian_Uniforms RuleSet020_German_Vehicles_Africa RuleSet021_German_Vehicles_Italy RuleSet023_German_Vehicles_Winter RuleSet025_German_Uniforms RuleSet030_US_Army_Vehicles RuleSet033_US_Army_Vehicles_Winter RuleSet035_US_Army_Uniforms RuleSet300_Buildings RuleSet301_Road_and_Track RuleSet350_Sand_and_Rocks_Africa RuleSet352_Rocks_and_Sand_Italy_Crete RuleSet355_Winter_Alpine RuleSet501_Miscellaneous RuleSet599_Do_It_Yourself Now for anyone with a desire I will always except any assistance, large or small, with this fielists. MikeT
  18. I am also leaning to the 2nd group. My second concern is about the number of rulesets. Some people didn't like the number in CMBB. But that was due to the massive number of vehicles in the game. CMAK doesn't seem that bad plus some vehicles use the same bmps, esp true for the Italians and Brits. If you are a glutton for filelists then I can send you some initial numbers for say the Americans. All I need to know is what bmps are apart of the vehicle set and if you can do the filelists (I will provide a suggestion on the format) that would be great. I am going to start with the uniforms myself, got some help from AndrewTF there. Another game has expressed interest in the terrain. The more the better. Thanks for the offering. Now if others can help with a set group or nation again I can provide a list of starting bmps so it shouldn't be too time consuming. MikeT
  19. Been thinking and working and the groundwork for CMMOS/CMAK. I have noticed several comments on the number of rulesets. I was able to get some lists of what vehicles and uniforms are in the game and my need to factor in sufficient room has lead me to some ideas on the rulesets. I have two proposals and would like feedback before I start on them. Neither will create any problem to create this is just a layout concern. Idea 1: RuleSet001_Brit_CW_Africa RuleSet002_Brit_CW_Italy RuleSet003_US_Army RuleSet004_German_Vehicles_Africa RuleSet005_German_Vehicles_Italy RuleSet006_Italian_Vehicles RuleSet010_Winter_Vehicles_British_US_Army RuleSet020_Winter_Vehicles_Germany_Italy RuleSet200_Brit_Uniforms RuleSet201_Commonwealth_Uniforms RuleSet205_US_Army_Uniforms RuleSet210_German_Uniforms RuleSet215_Italian_Uniforms RuleSet300_Buildings RuleSet301_Road_and_Track RuleSet350 Sand and Rocks-Africa RuleSet352_Rocks_and_Sand_Italy_Crete RuleSet355_Winter_Alpine RuleSet599_Do_It_Yourself Pretty straightforward and seems a natural extension from the way Gordon did CMBB. There large number of British vehicles and uniforms, very few Italians. The Americans are not that much of a problem, the Germans (compared to Russia) seem less numerous than the Brits. The references to "Sand and Rocks" and "Rocks and Sand" is from the 1980s movie "The Big Red One". They are the descriptions of Africa and Scily by the main character in the movie. Now another idea for the rulesets is a bit different. Instead of having all the vehicles in a group then all the uniforms, I thought about having an Army in a group, vehicles and uniforms. I came up with this: RuleSet001_British_CW_Vehicles_Africa RuleSet002_British_CW_Vehicles_Italy RuleSet003_British_CW_Vehicles_Winter RuleSet005_British_Uniforms RuleSet006_Commonwealth_Uniforms RuleSet010_US_Army_Vehicles RuleSet013_US_Army_Vehicles_Winter RuleSet015_US_Army_Uniforms RuleSet020_German_Vehicles_Africa RuleSet021_German_Vehicles_Italy RuleSet023_German_Vehicles_Winter RuleSet025_German_Uniforms RuleSet030_Italian_Vehicles RuleSet035_Italian_Uniforms RuleSet300_Buildings RuleSet301_Road_and_Track RuleSet350 Sand and Rocks-Africa RuleSet352_Rocks_and_Sand_Italy_Crete RuleSet355_Winter_Alpine RuleSet599_Do_It_Yourself Terrain is the same between them. But noticed that if you want to change your British forces you "might" have all of them on one line in CMMOS. Less hunting around. What do you think? Any comments, compaints, observations, anyone care? MikeT
  20. I just rechecked and then checked the bmps in my CMBO game and those are the Uni Carrier. Mike
  21. Wicky CMBO snow carrier: 13680 13681 13682 13683 13684 13685 MikeT
  22. Guys, if anyone can give me an assist on what set of bmps is for what vehicle, terrain, interface, etc. Then CMMOS/CMAK is a go. I have no idea how Gordon did it himself, I got started and suddenly felt swamped by the size of the project. Then the PC went south with a vengence. Just contact me at miket6065@sbcglobal.net and we can work out any details such as who takes on what portion of the games bmps/wavs. MikeT
  23. Well I did have computer problems and had to buy a brand new one. I am still working out the kinks. I also am suffering from gaming burnout, not just CM but all kinds of gaming. I would like to know the results of the community on CMMOS. I prefer it, but I do get the feeling that most have switched over to MCMMM. Let me know before I take the time to work up hundreds of filelists. MikeT
  24. Wow, I had forgotten that special project. I am looking forward to it. Mike
  25. Just had a quick, real quick, look at them and I do prefer the darker design. I will fire up CMBO tonight, haven't done that yet with the new PC, and give it a look. MikeT
