Just out of curiosity is it a mac or a pc. if it is a mac is it an imac?

Well I'm 25 married for almost 3 years and just bought a house.

I played as the americans in valley. I got a surrender out of the germans in 18 turns. I only lost 41 men. I'm finnally getting decent at combat mission!

I have been following this game closely. It really is going to be cool. It will fill the void where the massive multiplayer RPGS are lacking. Mainly because they can't be D&D and Neverwinter nights can.

I was just going to ask if air bursts were possible or were going to be added. I knew men dreaded them from reading a band of brothers by Sthephen Ambrose. You know BTS just keeps impressing me and surprising me. So Steve can we get an update on the process of shipping the final game?

Ok well I've narrowed it down to the version 3.1 sound manager. I have a starmax upgraded to a g3 by way of a l2 cache card. I had no problems with the beta demo under the old sound manager. It could just be a l2 cache upgrade conflict but it is quite reproduceable. If you have a l2 cache upgraded machine try and stay away from the 3.1 version of the sound manager.

This is a warning to all mac users. Do not upgrade to the latest version of the game sprockets. With the newest version of the sound sprockets your men sound like they are in a permanent echo or something. The version of sound sprocket to avoid is: 1.7.1 The version of sound manager to avoid is 3.1 The version of sound sprocet filter to avoid is 1.7.1. The sound manager is a part of quicktime. I believe it is delivered by way of quicktime 4.1. This has only happened on my machine so far as I know. But there may be others out there. Steve can you replicate this problem?

I thought pre ordering was to be halted once the gold demo came out? Is BTS giving till the end of the day for preorders? Just curious. I ofcouse have already made my pre order.

The subject pretty much sums it up. It qould be the greatest b-day present of all but I thinkI'm dreaming.

If you really like skyfighters 2000 you dhould buy the beta cd right now. You'll get the final when it comes out. Also there is a great community that plays this sim and unlike warbirds its free to play skyfighters 2000 on the internet. If you go to the irc channel mentioned at the web site you bump into people who have been playing for some time. Best of all some of those guys actually fought in ww2. I've played skyfighters the first incarnation of this game and loved it immensely. If you want a good flight sim this is definately a choice for you.

Well I became an outpost.com gaming guru and have played two games for free! All I had to do was write a review about each of them! The best part was I got the position by doing a sample review for combat mission! Oh and I bought a house.

So with the polishing taking longer than usual how is the tcp/ip networking coming? Is it now luped into one fo the must have features or is it still on the back burner. Also a feature I'd love to see way in the future is if you could get together with the author of Game ranger, a mac game matching service, and give him what he needs to write a plugin for the service. On another note I love the fact that you guys are taking time to do it right. When I heard the first inklings of this game I knew it would be huge. And of course you are making it a game of epic proportions. Thanks for being who you are!

And to keep the record totally in check it will run with mac os 8.5, 8.6, and 9.

I just simply do pbem allies or germans then number starting with the first pbem file and thats it. Course im not into multiple pbem games at once either. and once tcp/ip is out that will pretty much be the only way I play. Pbem is fun but it takes way too dang long. That's just my opinion though.

Better yet give BTS your system config. You may have found a bug. But if your a windows man update to direct x 7 first before pestering BTS. Now if your a mac man report your config immedeatly. There are no pressing driver issues as of yet.

Rave drivers are only for the mac. They are comparable to windows direct x drivers.

Concerning sound sprockets was sound sprocket 1.0 used during development and testing or version 1.7? Because when I have 1.0 loaded on my starmax 5000 the sounds are quite a bit louder than when I use 1.7 Any clue whats going on BTS?

Thanks for the info. My hellcats seem to be stupid. They always fire he at the tiger. Granted last nights assault on the tiger was beautiful. I was still wondering why they were using he instead of ap. Granted they wrere firing at the front of the tiger. Does this have anything to do with using he instead of ap?

Can you tell your tanks and outher armour units what to fire? I tried to search for this answer but to no avail. So is there a way or will it be a final feature?

Played it on two different systems. An ibook with 96 megs of ram. Runs great little stuttery in battles but still enjoyable. A starmax 5000 Upgraded to a G3 333 throught the magic of l2 cache upgrade. 128 meg of ram and a rage orion card. Plays like a dream. Ok 1 more system a G4 400 sawtooth variant. Well lets just say its as close to real life that your going to get. Bravo BTS for making this game a great experience no matter where you play it!

Just a curious note while playing the american attack scenario. No I don't have the name memorized yet. Any hoo when guys were moving from the second story of a building to the ground below they were floating. They would continue to float meters away. I'm running a rage orion with the latest drivers from os 9. I did the extract thing. Not sure if its a bug or a feature. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Is ther any scenario that uses skirmish lines? I read about them in Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose. I was just curious.

So is BTS going to give us a trick (no demo) or a treat (demo) for this all hallows eve?
