Nope. I didn't notice this happening until 9.44. No problems in 9.42 or 9.43.

Well I wish I had some report to submit on this but I don't. My set up is a 1.25ghz Dual processor mac connecting to the internet through an airport extreme card. The problem seems to be mainly when I'm connected to apernium station but it happened to me on one of the ctf servers last night as well. I'm playing along very smooth then I lose connection with the server. Eventually it comes back but my internet connection is maxed out. The lights on my basesation and my dsl modem are acting as if I'm downloading something at max speed. However nothing is being downloaded. I have to restart my basestation and my dsl modem to make everything right. If I continue to play I get disconnected multiple times. Anyone else experiencing anything like this? Or am I the only one who is trying to play this game over a wireless connection?

So will combat mission 2 run in os x or not? Just kind of curious.

So is tcp/ip play coming out in the next 30 days? Just wondering.

Will combat mission ever run in mac os 10 or will we have to wait till cm2 for a mac os 10 version?

I've been playing a pc opponet for quite some time. All we do is attach the game file. Don't compress it just attach it. Also make sure you leave the .txt on the end of the file name or you pc counterpart will not bealbe to load it into combat mission too easily. Remember compression is not needed!

Hey steve and charles you missed one siginificant thing on the mac version of CM. You forgot to test compatibility with non apple cd drivers. I have a Starmax 5000 and up until recently I had an apple cd rom in my computer but them I switched back to my original drive that came with the computer. The original drive requires cd rom toolkit to run properly. Well to my surprise when I try to run combat mission with cdrom tool kit as the cd driver combat mission says it required the cd to run even when the cd is on the desktop. If this could be addressed in the next patch that would be nice. I can work around it for now but would like to not have to. Thanks in advance.

Well I've already played the wiltz scenario but it is quite fun so I will play it again. My pbem buddy has gone on vacation without a computer so I need some real intellegence to play against not that AI everyone keeps talking about. Send me a set up. I'm not sure how many people out there this will help but here it goes. If you have a starmax computer and you have upgraded to a g3 by way of a L2 cache G3 upgrade and also have a rage orion card you probably have experienced audio corruption in combat mission. We all know its related to the new ati drivers but I have discovered a work around. Here is the solution: Get rid of sound manager 3.6.5, sound sprocket filter 1.7.1, and sound sprocket 1.7.1 also possibly if you have it apple audio extention. Then replace them with: sound manager 3.3, sound sprocket filter 1.0, and sound sprocket library 1.0. This eliminates all audio corruption in cm even with the latest ati drivers that are compatable with the latest open gl files. In otherword you now have the best of both worlds. To get access to these items you need access to an installer of 8.6 or someone with 8.6 and quicktime 3.x. Enjoy cm even more now and crank it up! Captain your tcp/ip is already set up because you are on the internet. You would simply send them your ip address and then your opponet would connect to you. To me tcp/ip is utmost important. PBEM is fun but it takes away from the true spirit of the game and it takes too long. I've loved CM because its a we go situation not you go i go. Well that's my 2 cents.

You may be able to take solace in this Captain. Tomorrow you will be able to d/l the demo of a very cool and original game. Terminus. Now everyone may say thats totally against your mighty religion, cm ofcourse, but wait. Terminus uses newtonian physics for its flight model. It might be worthless too I'm just guessing. But if you need something to take the edge off go for it.

Well I watched the mailman pull up and what did he leave? A bill. I guess I'm going to have to play the gold demo one more time to get my fix. I'm hoping monday will be the day. But if it isn't then at least I'll have the terminus demo to play with.

Well my card finnaly got charged. The best part is it got charged on the 15 so maybe my order went out then. The again probably not.

So where are the 50 lucky people who got their copies of combat mission. I thought for sure they would have posted by now.

So should we set up some web cams on the packing crew to make sure they don't slack off?
