I know I won't get a reply to this but I had to try. What is the likelyhood of us seeing the demo within 24 hrs of my post? Soon is encouraging but I'd like a little more definate than soon. Again I don't expect a reply form the powers on high but it had to be asked.

The most fun I had wargaming was when I was in college with some friends. We got some tables together and set up some terrain and then used minitures and duked it out. When I first saw combat mission thats exactly what I saw. I love the tactics of wargames and I've played stuff like mechwarrior and the calulations alwys took a bit of the fun out of it. When I did miniture wargaming I fell in love with wargaming because I could eye my own los and know for sure what my field of fire was. And we had charts to determine what got hit on a tank. It was the randomness of it that made it so alive. I'm sure combat mission will deliver this experience to me once again. I'm game to play with anyone who wants to play. I don't care if I lose more than I win I love the experience. And by the way Fionn I think this is the spirit of your article and I think its great! Wo else felt total elation then a total let down when they got the e-mail from battlefront.com? I thought all my wating was answered but alas it was for another game all together. Such is life. So who else felt this way when they got their e-mail yesterday?

Hey if you have myth 2 go grab the ww2 titans plugin for the mill. Its not CM but there is much strategy involved when playing this plug in.

So what is everyone ding while they are waitng for the demo? Me I'm checking up on the new imac and playing lots of myth 2 to occupy myself.

I just have to say it. I love owning and using macs. We never have this kind of trouble.

Are we going to meet here for games when cm comes out or will there be a separate place for gathering network and pbem games? Just curoius.

Chris you will see a gig processor from the g4 sooner than you will from intel and the g4 will have much more puch per gigahertz than you will from an intel chip.

I love being on a mac. CM is going to rock and I don't have to upgrade my sound card. And for speakers if you want a true combat feel get the jbl media system 2000. The may be pricy but well worth it. I happened to get mine for 30 bucks through some discounts and rebates.

Pc gamers aren't going to carry this title mac gamers are. You know how long its been since we have had a game of this caliber. Espically since no more close combat games are coming this way for mac. There will be many sales to mac owners. The best part this can run on an imac with no upgrade needed!

I too am looking forward for this on the mac. Close Combat was nice but always too narrow. With combat mission your going to get a taste of all the parts of the european theatre. That will be worth it. One thing though could support be added to have 4 or 6 players in a game in the future?
