I tried running CM on my Tohsiba Tecra 8000 laptop. It ran a little slow (350 Mhz, 128 Mb RAM), but the main problem was that the color white was shown as a dark pinkish. That became somewhat psychedelic!
Reminded me quite a lot of "Kelly's Heroes".Hawk

Actually, I would like to have an option of having the AI play against itself. It's an easy way to do early stage tests of homemade scenarios, and would have been a great help when playing large campaigns (aka. CMMC) where sometimes players can't make it for a period of time.

Huh? 11 players to 18 (?) million inhabitanst is 0.61 player pr. million. Norway with (now) 5 players and 4 million inhabitanst has a factor of 1.25 (i.e. more than doubble of Australia). And this probably goes for a lot of the other countries as well (e.g Sweden 1.11). USA by comparisation has 89 to 264 (?) million or a factor of 0.33.
There are of course a lot of other players who hasn't answered the poll, nor read this message board. I'm just having a little fun with the numbers!

Oh, I stoped doing that because I asumed it bored people, but I can start doing it again if you like me to?

Steve is very sorry (that they forgot to resend after three weeks) and has recently sent another copy, with a little added something to make it up to me.
I really do understand that SNAFU happends and FUBAR lurks in the dark. However, I am very happy with the way BTS handles these things! Their customer support/handling is the best I've seen on the net. May the best in your past, be the worst in your future, guys!

I once had an enemy squad runing right past one of mine (both in the open, but my enemy came charging across a hilltop), then suddenly stoping, doing an about face and enegage it. The enemy was obviously charging another of my squads when the TacAI suddenly (correctly I suppose) decided that the new(ly discovered?) squad was a larger threat.
I think it's a tribute to the game that something like this might happen!

Ah, scripting! Now, that would indeed be a blast, but wouldn't it put an aditional heavy load on the TacAI?
Come to think of it, I guess the TacAI basically is a very extensive set of IF/THEN/ELSE commands. I know that's oversimplificating things, but you get the idea.

(I'm only aware of the PC-method, so if you have a Mac, someone else must help you)
First, you press the PrintScreen key which copies the screen into the clipboard. Then you press the ESC key to minimize CM. Last, start your favourite drawing program (Paint etc) and paste the image in there.
Doesn't the manual describe this (no,I STILL haven't gotten my game)?
