I havn't posted in a while but I was thinking that the manual must be nearing some stage of completion. I wonder if Steve can let us in a bit on how it turned out. Is it spiral bound? Does it just have how to play info? Any historical background? How is it layed out? How many pages? Can't wait to see it. Thanks.

Hey Pad, you got to admit, Steve makes at lot of sense. As for preorders, the only worry I have is that mine has been in for so long I just hope it's not lost!

Well I've done all I can do....which is place my order which I did last May or June, I can't remember which. I'm just going to forget about it and try not to come here anymore. I may lurk a little. "When it's read" it'll show up on my doorstep and I'll come back to enjoy the celebration. As for now, I can't take it anymore.

You know a game is never really completed. It's always a work in progress. Technology dictates this. You don't want to turn out a Buggy product and this game has NO bugs, which we all know. I don't know enough to know if there is some particular problem thats being addressed. If our guys are just massaging graphics and the like , then I say turn it loose and continue to improve the game with patches. Like everyone else I, still love the beta demo. I just wish I had more scenarios. Charles and Steve have put their soles into this game and I guess it a little like a parent with a child, you just want it perfect.

If we can see the "screenshots" OK, does that mean our card will accept the new smoke grafics? I personally felt the old smoke was very servicable.

I've had several offers to start PBEM games but they are from inexperienced guys like me and none of us knows how to get a game going.This must sound rediculous to you guys who do it all the time. Are there some simple instructions somewhere we could follow and some outline of the sequence of play. I seem to remember some sequencing designed to prevent the temptation to cheat. Oh well.

Pardon my ignorance, but will these textures be a part of the final CM game or is this something we will have to download into some of CM's files? They just look unbelievable.

Could not get sound out of CM Beta Demo this morning so I removed the whole file from the hard drive and am redownloading it now from the CMHQ site. I can't recall where I downloaded the CE scenario from. Can someone help? -

Sorry Matt. I've never played a PBEM game so I'm very ignorant in these matters. -
I've checked the archives and haven't found what I'm looking for. If I just missed it I'm sorry. Will the company HQ's have and specific roll within the game other than providing a few more "lives" on the battlefield? I suppose they could help provide quicker recovery of morale etc. for a squad or michine gun unit or someother nearby unit. Has anything gone into the game since DEMO that would give some C&C advantages to platoon HQ's under a specific company commander? Seems like I saw this addressed but just can't find it now.
