Dan, I noticed the new folder that was created. When it says that I must copy those files and folders into the regular CM folder what does that mean? Does it mean drag and drop into the corresponding files already in the CM folder? BTW, thanks.

When I click on "play game" in the 22 version i have no scenarios, only quick battle. You know, I deleted the old 16 version before downloading the new one. Should I go back and download the old beta version again then reinstall the 22 version? If so does anyone know where I can find the old one again.

After downloading the new beta my game still refers to version 1.1b16. Is this correct?

Several scenarios have these red victory location flags that say "Bogus". What does this signify?

We all know that "wild Bill" and "Moon" do a great job. Who are some of the up and comers who have shown particular talent in scenario and operation design? I'm looking for the names I should start looking for when looking over all the new scenarios to play.

Just wondering, with all the terrain mods out, what most folks were using. I tried them all and settled on the highres grid. I later deleted the game completely then reloaded with the 1.03 patch. I find the I will now stick with the original mods that came with the game as far as terrain is concerned because I seem to like it better.

Just upgraded my video card. I have my desktop settings to 1024 x 768 but when i turn on CM it switches to 800 x 600. I didn't have this problem with my old card and can't figure how to get CM to the higher resolution which I much prefer. Any advice is much apreciated.

Yes Kingfish, I do have weather effects on. How do I find where the latest drivers can be downloaded from? I have a Diamond Stealth III card.

In the technical help section of this board I see lots of complaints about crashes and lock ups. When I look at the computer specs they discribe, I see no common thread. Different systems and vidio cards all seem to have had problems of some sort. The game runs great on my system except for two minor complaints. The combat resolution period slows to between 30 and 45 seconds for the larger operations and scenarios like All or Nothing and Parkers Crossroads. These are discribed as huge. The second complaint is that I can't see the fog effect which is caused I assume by my somewhat underpowered Video card at 16 megs. I want to upgrade to a TNT2 V3800 32 meg card but would hate to do that and then start having problems running the game. I have an AMD K7 650 Mhz with 128 MEGs SDRAM. What do you think? Should I do it?

My system is an AMD k-7 650 mgh processor, 128 meg RAM, and my video card is some what underpowered i think for the rest of my system. It is a Diamond Stealth 16 meg card. It works fine but I would like to consider an upgrade. What video card would you recommend as an upgrade to what I have with the system I currently have. Also what card performs best with CM and what should I expect to spend. Thanks in advance.

If so can they be distroyed by artilery or by engineers with explosives only? Also do craters left in bridges and roads ( paved and unpaved ) cause them to become impassable or at least disrupt movement for some vehicles? I ask because in a scenario I played I had to take a bridge to assure the enemy reinforcements could not cross it later and come in to the rear of my main force. Not thinking the bridge could be blown up, I left a platoon and a tank behind to guard the bridge. I would think that seeing a bridge blow up and seeing the results would be neet.

I downloaded the hires grid and like a lot. Currently playing All or Nothing. The grid only applies to grass and doesn't extend to other types of terain. I'm sure it's been mentioned here earlier but look and the best Golf simulations like Links 2000. It has some of the best looking terain graphics out there and it uses a grid on it's greens because you absolutely can't read a putt without it. In CM it doesn't look like a hex grid game at all and quite frankly I don't even notice it.I know it's late in this thread and probably no one will read this but just my two cents worth.

My system is 650 AMD K7, 128 megs RAM, 16 meg Diamond Stealth video card. I can't see the FOG in CM like I see in some posted game pics. I assume it's my video card and I am looking at upgrading. Can anyone give me names of brands that are not as compatable with CM. ( Isn't this great. I'm structuring my whole system to play CM) Any advice on this would be apreciated. Thanks.

Has anyonr tried this texture? Any performance degredation? It really looks good especially from the 3 and 4 camera setting.

I've manuvered around behind a pill box that I desperately need to distroy. These troops have no Deom packs so I first tried to sneak around front to attack through the slit, like in the movies. The result, one machine blast and 8 out of 10 troops wiped out. I have also tried to attack to the rear. My troops have used grenades to no avail and I've continued to lose men. HELP!!!!
