Soviet Secret Weapon Revealed
Mace replied to Bullethead's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I never knew the Russians perfected Anti-grav technology during WW2. Mace -
The most beautiful tank IMO is...
Mace replied to Schoerner's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
It was sponsored by and named after a politician. That would explain a lot. Mace -
umm, there were no Elefants (which I'll assume is what you mean, the Ferdinands were the original version without the MG) involved in the battle for Western Europe. They were either used on the Eastern Front, or the Italian Campaign. Mace

I'am confused, IS-3 does not have a round turrent
Mace replied to Cast Iron's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
It uses an IS2 model as a stand in. As far as programming is concerned however it is treated within the game as a IS3. Mace -
The impressive thing about you, Peng, is that you seem to be able to achieve that certain level of existance one achieves from drinking lots of alcohol, without the alcohol. That is one skill I wish I could achieve, my Nirvana perhaps? btw, remember when I once said I'd like to pull a certain part of your anatomy over your head? I'd still do it, but in a gesture of friendship and good will. Back to my beer. Mace

But if they did, they wouldn't have all that nice work done by Kwazydog. Mace (Aussie Aussie Aussie. Oi! Oi! Oi!) [ November 01, 2002, 10:04 PM: Message edited by: Mace ]

T-34 1943 model with early wheels?
Mace replied to AnonymousOxide's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
There is documentation of T34s with a mix of wheel type, so I wouldn't be too concerned about the choice on the model. And your correct about the cast Chtz turret but I don't think it's included in CMBB. Mace -
Suggestions for future improvements...?
Mace replied to Francesco's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Sorry, that's your opinion and I for one don't agree. I think that the CMBB infantry battle is a lot superior to the CMBO one. And by the way, I definitely want to play CMBB, all the time!!! Mace -
On this day of our Cess, 29 October 2002, the forces of good, niceness, apple pie and sheep (Mace US Force) defeated those of incessant talking, and sand, lots of sand (AussieJeff Kraut yappers). Axis Attacker: 561 Casualties (112 KIA) 32 Captured 2 guns destroyed 29 vehicles knocked out Men OK : 166 Score : 41 US Defenders: 236 Casualties (68 KIA) 8 mortars destroyed 7 guns destroyed 7 vehicles destroyed 1 plane shot down Men OK : 259 Score : 59 Allied Minor Victory, Victory made even sweeter in that it was an AussieJeff sanctioned version of 'King of the Castle'. Different graphic on Tiger I tanks?
Mace replied to Kanonier Reichmann's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Probably, it appears the wheels were continued to be interleaved, but in a different sequence and with less wheels. Regardless, CMBB models the outer wheels only and looking at the Early and Late Tiger models, they obviously have the placement of these correct.
