I Challenge Peng to Eat a Bug

Sit down Bauhaus. With approximately 120 million head of sheep and goats in Australia, I don't need to be jealous! Mace -

We could, but you wouldn't know what to do with them. Mace -

I think it's worth sitting down and pondering this with a brewski or ten. Mace -
Waste of time. I'd rather spend my time here.

I Challenge Peng to Eat a Bug
Mace replied to Panzer Leader's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Since Peng loves to eat things that wiggle and crawl, I'd suggest he tries our very own Whitchetty grub: The Grubs (up to 15cm long) are eaten raw or cooked tasting like scrambled eggs and peanut butter with a crispy chicken skin coating Hmmmm hmm hmmmm hmm hmmmmm….doesn’t it make your mouth water?! Retreating Monster Tanks revealed (monster pictures)
Mace replied to Redwolf's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Because the majority of the 276 support Battlefront's modelling and not Redwolf's (and apparently yours as well) misconception that there's a bug in program. Btw, a few of us are still waiting for you to produce evidence supporting your statement the other day regarding Soviet Tankers. Mace [ December 03, 2002, 06:23 AM: Message edited by: Mace ] -

And your references for this statement are?..... Partly correct, a (very) few others. Mace [ December 02, 2002, 06:19 AM: Message edited by: Mace ] -

Looks like fun. Almost as fun as having this thread whisked off to the General forum. So... Sit back, take your shoes off, and enjoy the ride! Hi MOM! Mace -
Auto-sneak-exhaustion not improved in 1.01
Mace replied to Redwolf's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
It happens in real life. There have been documented cases of soldiers vacating their trenches to flee during artillery strikes. Mace -

I actually played a QB against the AI last night. It ended up being a Panzer Grenadier Assault against entrenched Soviets across open space. I managed to get quite a large victory against the Soviets and had none of the problems that have been discussed here. I think this is because: i) I ensured my regular infantry were well forward of my support troops at all time (so that they could deal with any potential threat to my support troops) ii) If any support troops were suppressed while relocating, I would cancel thier movement and manage them carefully until they returned to normal operational efficiency. Once this happened I re-applied their movement orders. Hence I would suggest that some of the problems discussed here may be due to inproper use of support troops (ie having them well forward, or in isolated positions where they couldn't themselves receive mutual support).
