Hi Having a problem running CMAK on a Dell laptop It runs but one cannot use the mouse or internal cursor or direction key in the start up to select scenarios or saved games. Help

I think we could agree that a scenario consisting of German and British forces fighting over the grounds of the historic battlefield of Waterloo would be farfetched...like fictional

Thanks Kingfish for the great information. Look like the elements of the 9th Panzers and Fuhrer's Grenadier Brigade will meet elements of the Guards along the road from Charlteroi to Brussels - at the Hougoumont of course....

Actually I was thinking of making a scenario (fictional of course). It would have British troops defending in the vicinity of Wavre and a fall back to a final defense of the Hougoumont. Just needed a reasonable idea of what German unit MIGHT have gotten there. Thanks for your answer Kingfish - may I ask for one more opinion? What unit of the OKW reserve? A SWAG would be sufficient! Simovitch: Agreed highly unlikely - but I like the terrain around Waterloo. The British troops would have to be the Brigade of Guards of course! Michael: If the Nazis had somehow won, it would have been a disaster of the first magnitude, leading to endless wars - could they have won? Not militarily but they had a faint hope if other Allied government had been as weak as the French. Once the war began and they didn't overrun Russia the long term economic factors were against them. JasonC: close to the point - I was wondering if a remake of the Hougoumont defense using WWII Brits vs Germans might be interesting. Good infantry fight. A bit of extra color to get a "possible" unit from the Germans there. Next question where were the Guards during the Battle of Bulge?

A query In the unlikely event that the German offense had been more successful AND some units had gotten near Antwerp. Which units in the estimation of the knowledgeable would have been most likely to be the ones leading the spearhead up thru Belgium towards the critical port?

Any need for more Hungarian scenarios? I did a few, would you like to include them?

Concept I developed several scenarios (none completed) based on the idea of fighting over the same piece of terrain, in one case an airfield ,in another a bridge, in 1941 and then again in 1944. I would recommend that as possible pathway.

Howdy Stoffel But of course, I'm under a heavy work load but am able to do a little CM at times. You have reminded me that I need to put up our Waalhaven operation too at TSD. How is the school going?

Good point STOFFEL, a few of my 1940 scenarios are Germans vs Brits, Danes, Dutch and Norwegians!

Hello Threadhead 46 Yes I've done about twenty scenarios and operations on that theme and few others have made a few also toclude Junk2drive. You can find a number of them at the new Scenario Depot. More are going up each day. Also I'm working to complete a fourteen scenario long campaign covering the 1st Panzer Divisions attack into France in June 1940 (11 finished) it to is at the TSD

Probably just a regional thing. The Russians I know are from the Urals and another from the Volga area - they look down on "center". Sorry I didn't see this request earlier, I don't scan the forum on regular basis anymore.

It would also be good if the AI could handle "on order" missions. Take your objective then on order procede to do A, B or C. It would also be good for the designer to be able to arrange for messages to be sent at specific times or apon a certain event occuring.
