noxnoctum
Just wondering, what kind of artillery munition is more effective against infantry in buildings? General, personnel, or AT? Because I was thinking the anti-inf air burst probably wouldn't do much against guys in buildings...
Sgt Joch
I prefer "general" against buildings. It will take down the building and the troops in it. "personnel" will airburst over the building and only affect enemy troops on the roof. "armour" is more geared towards taking out AFVs. There was a thread a few months back where this was discussed in detail, although I can't find it now.
Blackcat
In my experience the best results are obtained from using general ammo with armour as the target type (armour produces as tighter group and so leads to more hits on the building).
noxnoctum
What do you mean? I only see the option for deciding what target type, not what kind of ammo.
Blackcat
Sorry, wrong game. If you use armour you will in effect be using (general) ground burst shells but will get a tighter group than general. Therefore, I find using armour gives the best results against buildings.
Sgt Joch
you may want to look at this thread where the issue was discussed in more depth: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=89370&highlight=artillery
