Is there any possibility? (CM in windowed mode)

Do anyone of you know any option to play CM,s (CMBO, CMBB and CMAK) in windowed mode in Windows XP?

I need to change from the fullscreen to window mode, but all I have tried didn't work.

CMBO runs in vmware in software render mode in a window, that the only direct way I know about.

However, if you use VNC it works and you have it in a window. Of course that means you need to have an actual Windows box somewhere in your datacenter.

VNC is a remote desktop software. So you can have a Windoze box somewhere in a closet and the screen from that box as a window on your real computers.

Doesn't run very fast, of course, but allowed me to answer PBEM moves.

No. VNC is remote desktop software. It doesn't run a virtual machine, it just allows someone else to view/access the existing desktop.

Sort of like Remote Assistance for XP.

Might actually work by using a dual-head video setup, with no monitor connected to the head where CM runs full-screen, then on the other head you have your windowed environment.

Problem is that you need a separate set of keyboard and mouse for the second screen. Not sure Windoze supports this. On Unix/Linux you can run a full second X11 server on the second head.
