panzermartin
It seems I cant download anything from there. Once I get to the final d/l link I get a web page not found error. Any ideas? I'm registered, I suppose you can download for free a couple of files?

Moon
Google Chrome does not seem to fully support ftp connections, which is what we're using for file downloads. That's why it throws an error.
Skinnedpuppy
i'm getting similar problems with IE7 when trying to download one of the files that is a .pdf, also any way to disable the email spam clammering for file reviews?
Moon
There are no pdf files on the repository. The only allowed file types are zip and rar. I just tried downloading the Highway tile tutorial with IE7 and have no problems at all. Maybe your firewall is preventing a download? You cannot disable the email asking you, politely, to consider giving reviews and vote for files that you download. It's the least in courtesy you can show to the people who spend a lot of effort creating all those mods and scenarios if you ask me. And it's not spam, either, because you only get one reminder per file.
Sergei
Moon, should it though send you a reminder when you've already voted/given review? Because I did both for one download, and still I got a reminding e-mail.
Skinnedpuppy
i'd call bulk mailing (one mail per file) for every file downloaded (over the past week?) in one go spam, one mail asking for every file would be preferable

It should now properly recognize when you already voted.

I'll see what I can do.
birdstrike
Hi Moon, I just noticed that the name in the repository address says "remository" instead of "repository", don't know think that's any problem at all, just looks odd. http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=314
Moon
Remository is the name of the component that we're using, so it's correct that it says so.
birdstrike
Ah, okay. I stand corrected, then.
