asurob
I have two monitors but only want to use one for the game. Brings up Marines on one but blacks out the screen on the other. Is there a setting IM missing (windows mode or some such?). Thanks
BigDork
I've played around with trying to get CM running on dual-monitors before and unfortunately there is no windowed mode for CM.

BigDork
Yeah... I run WoW in windowed mode and love it. It's great being able to have another monitor running with whatever I need up on it.
GJK
I have dual monitors set up and my secondary monitor stays open (i.e., doesn't black out). I'm using Nvidia's "Dualview" if that makes a difference.
BigDork
Sweet... I'll check that out.
SlowMotion
What about horizontal map scrolling when 2 monitors are connected? It used to work properly only to one direction. I have only one monitor connected at the moment so I can't check.
7thGalaxy
Horizontal map scrolling dosn't work too well on the side that the second moniter is attached to - which is a little annoying.
GJK
Yes, I do have that issue as well. I have to resort to arrow-keys and WASD when going to the left (side that my secondary monitor is on).
missinginreality
That's odd coz I'm running two monitors as well and whilost the 2nd does black out, scrolling to that side works without a problem? I think as long as the cursor just goes off the main screen to that side rather tha ntravel it all the way across the second one. It's intuitive for e now so I don't really think about it but I've never noticed a problem now I come to think of it.
SlowMotion
Maybe it is this case where the other monitor does NOT black out (Nvidia Dualview) where scrolling to the direction of other monitor doesn't work well. I first played with 2 monitors and now with 1: scrolling works much better with one.
asurob
Nvidia, duelview, no joy. Still blacks out. There has to be a way around this. With WITP if I put a -w after the string in properties that would work. Ill give that a try tonite with this.
