todorp Posted May 20, 2007 Share Posted May 20, 2007 1C announced ToW v2 on it's Russian site Google translation ToW v2 features ToW v2 will address a lot of the issues raised in the forum and what is really really nice: "For (the Russian) owners of the first edition of "The Second World War" (ToW) will be issued a global update, which added a game all of the above changes. If not when will the US version be available? -Will this fix the god awful crashing that has forced me to stop playing ToW? -Is this going to offer a realistic chance at successfully hosting and playing multiplayer missions throughout the community? -Will this patch/add on, when released U.S., be issued via a CD as it should to its deserving ToW community? -Will there be further patches/add ons such as this one in the future? The Russian ToW v2 will be sold as a full stand alone game. @Destraex and @Markus86 The Russian and the English ToW v1 have the same patch. C1 announced ToW v2. In the Russian 1C ToW forums there are very interesting discussions between the ToW designers and the community about the v2 features. I was pleasantly surprised to see that, it is not common.
