Thanks rune, I have NVidia 7600GS, E6400 and 22" 1600x1050. Now the game runs OK 99% of the time.

fil, can you please post in the FAQ all the key commands. I read that new key commands were added in the patches and it would be nice to have them all in one place.

The pathced game is far better than the demo. I read in other forums and discussions that many people form their opinion about ToW from the demo and decide not to buy. It would be good for the sales if now and then the demo is patched as well.

@Wolfseven If you have the Russian ToW v1 you will get a free update to v2. The Russian ToW v2 will be sold as a full stand alone game. @Destraex and @Markus86 The Russian and the English ToW v1 have the same patch. C1 announced ToW v2. In the Russian 1C ToW forums there are very interesting discussions between the ToW designers and the community about the v2 features. I was pleasantly surprised to see that, it is not common.

All depends on what battlefront and 1C will negotiate

1C announced ToW v2 on it's Russian site Google translation ToW v2 features ToW v2 will address a lot of the issues raised in the forum and what is really really nice: "For (the Russian) owners of the first edition of "The Second World War" (ToW) will be issued a global update, which added a game all of the above changes. Update can be downloaded free of charge from the official site games."
