I'll try again.

I think it's more of a how much ammo do you want to drag around sorta thing...plus you might wanna only use one at the current position. Team grabs Jav + missile, dismounts, fires off missile, jumps back in Stryker and off they go...lots of reasons for it I suppose.

I think his point was why would a squad grab a javelin and not the launcher for it?
