Targetting Vehicle Weapons

Is it possible to 'make' the vehicles fire their Javelins etc.? I have made them 'Open Up' but in one of the scenarios I was playing I didn't see any of the vehicles use their Javelins at all, and there were plenty of enemy vehicles around.

Vehicles don't have javelins for use as far as I know. The javelins in the equipment tab are there to be given to squads if they need it.

Yes. You can either have the squad "Acquire" the launcher and missiles before they leave the vehicle, or you can have them return to it to pick them up as the need arises. You can even send the AT component of a split squad back to pick them up. But however you do it Javelin's are fired dismounted.

Thanks for that, I just thought that there were some Strykers that were able to fire some kind of heavy weapon.

how do you do it then mate?

The squad AI decides when to fire a Javelin and should do so mainly against high-priority targets like tanks, bunkers, etc...
