M1A1TC
Hey my friends at BFC Could you please add this Stryker variant? The Engineer Squad Vehicle (ESV) provides maneuver/mobility support capabilities, which include obstacle clearing, in-stride breaching of surface mines, proofing of subsurface mines and smoke generation for local protection. This would add mine-field breaching ability to US forces, plus smoke. Pretty please?? Also, mine plow/roller Abrams can be added And how about MRAPs like the Cougar? I know you have larger issues right now then adding realistic engineer support in the game, but maybe you can think about it?
Xipe66
They already have similar vehicles included (with clearing gear) and I remember reading that that gear is not simulated _as of yet_. Once it is maybe there will be a point in adding it. Also, that vehicle looks kickass, so I hope it will get added once it can be simulated according to its abilities.
M1A1TC
Yes, M1132 is in the game, but it is useless. It doesnt have a plow or miclic
tc237
Maybe a SBCT guy can answer this: Regarding that plow in the pic, how effective is it? Does not look like it can dig in very deep. Does the vehicle have enough power to plow through hard ground? How many hits can that plow take? Just throwing some question out there. Like M1A1TC, I'm hoping a full featured obstacle/counter obstacle feature is eventually included in the game.
M1A1TC
The plow, atleast on M1, is designed to push obstacles (barbed wire) away, and just barely touch the top soil Mine roller is heavy enough to explode mines underneath it.
pad152
Yes, M1132 is in the game, but it is useless. So are the engineers that come with it!
SlowMotion
pad152 wrote "So are the engineers that come with it!" Do you mean how they currently do mine clearing? I asked about Mark Mines command in Scenarios forum. Could developers give any official comment about that? http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=72;t=000014 The manual doesn't say much about how that command should work.
