molotov_billy
To repro - playing the campaign, this happens whenever the enemy surrenders early, and I have a bunch of time left on the clock. If there are still objectives on the map that I haven't captured yet, then they are "lost" and the enemy is rewarded points for them. Obviously if I was given the amount of time left on the clock to walk over to the objectives, I would be able capture them.
metalbrew
I had the same thing happen. I understand the surrendering enemy getting points for casualties and destroyed vehicles but ground objectives should be completely awarded to the winning force.
jomni
Yes this makes it quite gamey.
BlAin
True, happened to me as well. Beside the red cross for having failed that objective it was mentioned: Failed to eliminate enemy resistance (good to know, thank you, didn't they JUST $%*&!# surrendered???). Also, if I recall well, I had another red cross explaining that I did not complete my objective in securing the lower city block (or whatever that is). Hum, it seems surrendering does not confirm you actually secured a specific "hold that place" objective. It must be the whole unconventional warefare thing...
SlowMotion
Something close to this I noticed: I had set same terrain objective area for both sides. When the game ended both sides got points for occupying the area. How is this possible? Do you get points for occupy if even one soldier is in the area? If this is the case, how should CMx1 "capture the flag" missions be done? Both sides might have units inside the objective area, but if one side has clearly stronger forces there, that side gets the points.
