rune
First true computer wargame I had was Eastern front on the orignal Atari 800. First wargame I owned was the orignal tactics. Still have a bunch of board wargames in the basement someplace. Rune
rlg85
I guess fooling around with "Battlefront" on my C64 was one of the first wargames, even if I didnt completely know what I was doing at the time. (I was 5 at the time, but yes I was actually playing it, just not completely grasping the strategy of things.) Well I guess you could include "Lords of Conquest" by EON
Harv
Hola Mace! Life is good, another crop of dust is almost ready to come off, and the Missus has almost managed to get rid of that eeeevil Aussie accent she picked up when you were here. It's enough to make a person drive a dull icepick into his ear I tell ya. And speaking of eeeevil...it was easy to watch your six Cess-Speedy...it was the one always sticking straight up out of the crater at the end of the runway.
blassty
i was 12 when I tried to manually type the codes to B-1 bomber only to be sorely disappointed that the Commodore Vic 20 did not have enough memory to hold the entire game.
