Sgt_K
Hmmm I am positive that both sides moved at the same time after orders were given, admitedly the 80s are a bit hazy for me. I'm probably wrong on this since so many rememberit differently, was still an awesome game.
Battlefront.com
Hammelman, No problem. We don't mind people mentioning other people's products in passing, nor linking directly to them, when they are in context of an on topic discussion. This is a little off topic, but not a big deal. We really only take issue when people are here deliberately "pimping" other products. Steve
hammelman
Steve, that is quite fair and i appreciate you giving a heads up to the community on that. I guess i feel these games are very much a pillar of my war gaming experience, and i think everyone should get to play them to give them an idea of the overall strategy of war - thereby making their CM experience ever more in depth. I love this stuff.
McIvan
I remember Typhoon of Steel and the other version for Europe......they had everything I wanted in a wargame except an interface....it was just HORRIBLE. The interface was so bad they were almost impossible to play. When Steel Panthers came out it was a revelation.
Zemke
2by3 was working on a new "War in Russia", but I think they have put the project on the back burner.....
dynaman200
McIvan: Yes the interface was horrible. I never did figure it all out. Then CMBO came along (well, quite a bit later) and got the interface and the game right.

thewood
The latest incarnation now has a reverse in it. Took 15 years.
Sgt_K
I only started this topic since I remembered it as a WEGO, and it is a title for the Commodore 64, from the 80s, I don't think that is competeing with CM titles! Wouldn't have started a discussion on a product that competes with Battlefront! Since I got CMBO I can't play any other tactical games!
