A few new screens...

AdamL, yes, you can adjust tree density in the editor, and pretty much make impassable forests (you can ram trees, and they will usually fall, but if the density is too high, you won't get anywhere without serious damage). Having too dense of a forest can be both an issue for game speed as well as simply fun (not much fun playing a tank sim around an impassable forest?), so I don't think any of the stock maps have such forests on map (although it could be, I'm just not sure). But you could make such terrain in the editor.

Hehe...you're right about the forests of course. T72 will let you simulate that.

Another issue for tank combat will be of course urban areas. Something which, again, is not used often in the stock maps in the game, but can be made in the editor with relative ease.

But to be honest, even without that, infantry can be a pain in the tankers rear in the game. High grass and the fact that the terrain is dynamically deformable (so that infantry soldiers can use shell holes, trenches and the like to find cover) makes it difficult enough to win a close-in fight with an RPG gunner.

Urban screens (actually from a campaign mission, so it doesn't represent the most dense urban terrain you could do in the editor; sorry for the whitewashed images, it's a foggy early morning mission smile.gif ):

PS. You can see the modular way that buildings are designed in these screens. This allows for both dynamic destruction, as well as for custom buildings design with the 3D building editor included in the game (takes some skill though, but will be easy for experienced modders).
