John Kettler
Now that the replacement rig (loaded 17" lampshade iMac) has been ordered, it occurs to me that it might be a good idea to find out how PBEM is done in this to me exotic realm. I know that the HD has separate partitions for each OS, but what I don't understand is how things get from one side to the other. Presumably, the users do their surfing and E-mailing in OS X, since this allows for much richer and feature laden browser options, but how do you get an OS X E-mail attachment over to the OS 9 world and an outgoing turn over to OS X? If the entire transaction is conducted in OS 9, please advise as to the best browser option you have found. Many thanks from one long deprived of the healing properties of Combat Mission (and a man with a virginal CMBB!)! jeffsmith
e-mail client on OS9 side too or browse for PBEM file inside OSX e-mail client or drag PBEM file from OS9 side to OSX side to send (but then delete file in OSX side after sending to avoid duplicates) I also have a folder alias on the OS9 desktop that I download my recieved PBEM files into

Not necessarily so - OSX and OS9 can live on the same partition - You'll see each system (hopefully so!) in the 'start up' control panel (OS9) / system preferences (OSX)
Pzman
Yup, both will show up in the start up disk option in both OSs. You can send files in either, since there are email apps for both. IMO Netscape 7.1 is the best OS9 Browser because IE lags behind, where as Netscape 7.1 has tabed browsing.
