The only terrain feature that SC lacks that was in NaW is roads. Perhaps after SC2 is finished, HC will consider adding functionality for roads - tiles that cost only 1/2 to 1/3 of an Action point when moving from one road tileside to another road tileside. PS: Can you have timed reinforcements in SC2? Ie on a specific date this group of units appear?
Mr.Dozer
like USA para troops or the hitler youths into SS
Hubert Cater
Timed reinforcements are possible via script and/or reinforcements that are triggered via a conditional position. For example you could set a tile to be a trigger that checks for any number of axis or allied units and within a specified distance. FYI, this is already in use in many of the scenarios/campaigns for the game

Edwin P.
Thanks for the update HC. Getting back to Napoleon at Waterloo; First, the only unit types are cavalry, infantry, artillery and HQ. The sides will be French, British and Prussian. Timed reinforcements: Yes Terrain types will be clear, city and forest. Leaders: Wellington, Napoleon, Blucher Forces: 73,000 French vs 67,000 Anglo Allied and 25,000 Prussian Technology - None Map Size - Small All in all, it appears to be a playable battle that can be recreated in SC2 made all the more tense by the pressure on the French to achieve victory before the Prussian reinforcements arrive. pzgndr
This could resolve a nagging historical question many have been asking for years: "What if Napoleon had a B-52 at Waterloo?"
Liam
You're missing some things. Wellington and Napoleon would be evenly matched...well, perhaps... Blucher lesser of the three men. Weather was a factor on the French especially. The French General would've been much more experienced. Originally posted by Edwin P.: Thanks for the update HC. Guest Mike
If Nappy had a B-52 then the Brits would have had a battery of SAM-2's if you're talking a 1960's B-52, or SAM-6's for 1980's, or Croatel's or similar for later..... You need hills at waterloo too.
