Big Dog
Can someone explain, in game terms, what is the difference between a 10 point corps and a 10 point army? Is it worth the MPP difference or should you build corps first until you reach the limit and then build armies?

TaoJah
IMHO it's better to have two corpses then to have one army. - The defence is the same, but you can defend two spots with the corpses. - Armies attack double as hard, that's true, but most of the time, when you are in a situation where can attack with one army, you can also attack with two corpses. - You lower entrenchements faster with two attacks. - You can cut off suply easier. - They're faster to move around. - They're faster to build. The only drawback is that you need more HQ, that's all. Typically I get my major victories with the Axis with only the armies I started with in the beginning, only buying corpses and HQs. Blashy
I find Armies to be more of a hinderance than anything. A Corps can accomplish much more.

Corps are useful for garrison duties, shoring up defensive lines, supporting armour for encirclement manuevers, to sacrifice so more expensive units can escape etc etc. Armies are the hammer to the corps' anvil
