When web filtering blocks access to Battlefront (and by-passing it)

At my work www.battlefront.com has website has been disabled since it is games-related.

If this happens to you try secure connection!

Use "https" instead of "http"

https://www.battlefront.com/ works great.

You might have to do this a couple of times - but it seems to fool most Web-Filtering.

Thanks for this killmore - now I don't need to use the Unix Netscape in order to bypass the work filter

One more thing - do you know how to get rid of the message about mixing secure and non-secure items on the same page?

You can also try going through a proxy, which may not be blocked by your work filters.

I use http://www.megaproxy.com/ and also the more famous http://www.anonymizer.com/ .

That trick will only work up until I move the current ordering system from https://www.combatmission2.com to its more proper home of https://www.battlefront.com.

I have no ETA on when I am going to do that, but it is planned.

Blocking

I work in an Arab country and one day after a thread on a future CMBO style game for the Arab-Israel wars my host nations proxy started blocking the site. (because Israel was mentioned and (gosh) Arab defeat)

Took six months to get it back, and a lot of whining on my part to the censors.
