BTS sells straight to the consumer (in the U.S.) and therefore pockets most-all of the profits themselves. It's a trade-off -- they either have lower visibility (web sales) with higher profit margins, or much high visibility (store sales) with much thinner profit margins. They only recently found a distributor they trust for European store sales. No luck in the U.S. yet, though. Plenty of people show up on this site asking nervously about buying over the net. IIRC, there have been some boxed version spotted in Scandinavia too. The British version has a Bonus CD off MODs, Scenarios and MODs Manager added for good measure. If you're not in the UK, you'll get the regular CD just like we did save for the fact that it's CMBO for Windows 1.12 only. No Mac version on the CD because of the copy protection CDV uses for its CD. As a side note, said copy protection works so well there are scores of CDV CMBO all over the Net already. If you're willing to buy it online but not at BTS because you feel more at ease with big institutional sites, you can have it on many of the regular addies... In the near future we will also offer the French Language Mac version here on our webstore and we expect that to be followed by the German Language Mac version soon after. PC versions for those languages are offered by CDV. The Bonus Mod CD is a special deal we arranged to be included on the English Language European Release of CMBO by CDV. The bonus CD is the ONLY difference from the version we sell here at Battlefront and everything on that CD (and much much more) can also be found on my website at CMHQ or other fansites.
