Graham C
Hi Guys, I'm new to CM, and was wondering which scenarios are considered to be the best in CMBB for PBEM games, and more specifically, which are best for newbies? Cheers GTC
Thin Red Line
You should have a look at the scenario forum, there are alot of discussions about the subject there. An almost perfect one for PBEM is Defense of Verkhne-Golubaya.
Epée
Best I've played so far: 'Battle of Minors' 'Izium (or something like that) Diet Plan' I really like getting ready made maps and playing attacks/assaults on them. I love the 'Valley of Thunder' map for example, am playing 2 different assaults on this.
athkatla
I dunno about playing scenarios as a PBEM game. The two I have played so far were heavily weighed against me, not deliberately by my opponents, I assume, but they made the experience very difficult and not very enjoyable. I much prefer to play QB's in PBEM's!
Michael Dorosh
Check out the Scenario Depot http://ns9.super-hosts.com/~dragonlair.net/combatmission/ You will find reviews there, and if you go to the CMBB lists, it mentions the top rated scenarios specifically for PBEM play. Lindan
The absolutely BEST scenario I EVER PLAYED in a PBEM is the fantastic, exciting, super, cool, totally sweet: SOUTH OF HEAVEN!!! (did I mention that I designed it ? ) You can find it at my site. When I designed it I got so pumped up, I nearly kicked my mother in the face.
