Does Plotting Unit Commands Take Too Long?

Recommended Posts

I haven't tried the demo but with so many units to move such as in Ligur's screenshots, does it take a long time to plot your unit moves and commands? With some of the very big scenarios in CMBO, the plotting got tedious for me sometimes.

Any opinions?

It's all technique technique technique.

I've seen guys on the board telling of how they spend hours studying every contour detail, then choreographic their troop movements as though it were a ballet. Then there's the rest of use who just group-select everybody and with one click on the opposite end of the map march them off to their doom!

In case you didn't know you can dbl click on a HQ inf or vehic to select all the units 'attached' to it. Then you can click to make them move as a group. only one waypoint, but you can move them add to them. Good to get your guys moving in right direction.

With CM:BB penalty for more waypoints there is an incentive not to micromanage so much and with nifty new movement commands CA, adavce, contact there is less need. I'm very gratefull.
