Hi all, I was waiting for cmbo cd.

I had asked for it via MO and I was surprised at the amount of time they required for us to wait, 4 to 5 weeks.

I'm in California and BTC are in Vermont, so I thought the guys must still be using the "Mayflower" for their deliveries. Or "Nafta", you know, you send it to Canada one way and it comes through Mexico the other way?

Well, not quite. I send my MO on the 15th of last month, now is just the eight and is here! just past the third week!

Another sign that they are clearing the warehouse and fast before the great event.

Thank you BTC, and congratulations in advance for cmbb, which now I know I can wait for it patiently, which I advice, it helps!

ps. I was worried that people using MO could be ostrasized. I guess this time we beat the "Credit card" sharks. Thank You, again.

MO? is that by check? anything by check takes extra long, which is why credit is more popular.

credit card=less time waiting for game. :D

Dear Freaky-Old-Dude,

Welcome to the year 2002. Much has changed. You have obviously discovered "computers" and the many marvels that they allow you to see....and not all of it is porn. tongue.gif Seriously, get an ATM check card, they work like a credit card for those of us getting out of the credit card scam. If you are weirded out by internet credit transactions get a ATM/ check card account with a limited amount of funds in account thereby limiting risk and increasing the amount of bank statements you receive each month. Oh well can't win them all.

Cheques are fun!

My mother use to give me a cheque if she feels like sending me some money for christmas or birthday present. When I come to the bank (the very same bank chain that issued the cheque in the first place) to cash it in the clerk usually looks very puzzled at the piece of paper and wonder what it is. ???

It's not my fault that they don't recognice a cheque they issued about fifteen years ago, and have changed name and logo twice or thrice since... :D

Cheers

I take it your mother either doesn't write many checks or buys them in lots of a thousand at the time.

You're right.

They were issued about 20 or 25 at a time. Then my mother use one every other year or so, on average (it's been a bit more lately).

The bank does everything it can to make their customers not use cheques, charging 15 SKr (about $1.50) for each cheque processed. Instead they want everybody to use cash- or credit-cards (for which we also have to pay)...

Cheers

Olle
