Gyrene
Oops, there are no pictures from the June 22 So Cal meeting as there was no June 22 So Cal meeting! Is anyone out there ready to give this another shot? Some time later in July or early August? Is the Santa Monica Aiport still a good destination? Col Deadmarsh
I'd be up for meeting...but not in Santa friggin Monica. That's a good 45 minutes away from me. How about somewhere in the San Gabriel Valley...
Pvt. Ryan
Let's have a 4th of July gathering. OK, everyone meet at 6pm. See y'all there.

Newport was a popular choice last time this topic came up. Gyrene
lcm1947
What a great idea. A June 22nd gathering. Sounds great could we all meet in a central location however just to be fair - like Austin, Texas? Who wants to stay over at my house? Oh, and the little wife says no guns! No just kidding of course - about the guns.
zukkov
i second lcm's suggestion about austin. only an hour's drive for your's truly... lol..
GillFish
Gentlemen, Suggest a Saturday and I'll mark my calendar. Either Newport or Santa Monica works. My preference is a date on or after July 27.

Most of us are inland I would think. Whatever, Newport or Santa friggin Monica are fine by me. Vader, you're buying the first round
Pvt. Ryan
How about Pasadena? Would that be better? Or maybe Smith River - check a map, it's somewhere on the 101.
ACTOR
I would love a get together, but I am in Corona (Inland Empire) so Santa Monica wouldn't be my first choice. How about Anaheim, or some place that is more central?
THumpre
Yes, yes I'm still in....
Gyrene
The reason the two beach cities came up is because frankly they suck less than most inland cities, although Pasadena is a kick-ass town bar-wise. How's July 27 or 28 to start? Gyrene

Col Deadmarsh
Gyrene has a good point. Pasadena is a great bar city and is close to me. If this isn't central to anyone else, then a beach city is fine as the areas like he said are usally pretty nice--especially Newport. I also vote for Sunday as I work Saturday nights. L4Pilot
Santa Monica, Newport or Pasadena would be fine with me. My offer re: Spitfire Grill is still valid, and Sunday would be better than Saturday for me. L4Pilot
