Fionn
MGs are powerful but they are JUST another weapons system. This is analogous to the Tiger situation. Sure it is a good tank but when push comes to shove it IS just a tank. I subscribe to the Arnold Schwarzenegger school of weapons evaluation. "If it bleeds we can kill it." . No matter how big and bad a given system is it CAN be killed/negated. To figure out how to negate MGs all you need do is figure out what worked against them in real life and do that in CMBB. It really is that simple. Also, MGs only defend important portions of the front and are too slow to relocate. You shouldn't be attacking important portions of the enemy front/strongpoints. You should be attacking weak points ( those areas covered by few troops and MGs).

Silvio Manuel
BUMP- some may find this more relevant now that CMBB is out, since Fionn uses Soviet style Manuever warfare w/ CMBO/U.S. units to simulate the Soviet ones that we now have access to.
