Capt Canuck
After using CMMOS ever since it came out, I went looking through my CMBO Directory(C:/Program Files/CMBO) and found that I still had all the old Batch Files and Icons.... My question is whether I deleted these,...Would it affect CMMOS at all in its function? DOes CMMOS depend upon these old Batch Files? Thank you very much, Dave
Marco Bergman
All my batch files and icons are now redundant. Fernando's are very nearly so. But if you aren't using them anyway, they can all be safely deleted.
Der Kriegsherr
I deleted my batch files when I decided to install CMMOS yesterday. Now I'm frustrated, because I can't get it to run, even though it installs. Boy, I'd REALLY be grateful if somebody could help. I'm fairly computer literate, so I'm sure that my error is a simple one. Thanks.
Mattias
A related question. A lot of mods create sub directories when unzipping, putting optional texture etc. in them. Now, and this is the question, does CMMOS ever use any files stored in sub directories to the BMP directory? M.
Gordon
Well, have you tried contacting the program's author? His e-mail address is in the documentation. It's "gordonemolek@earthlink.net". I'm sure that if you sent him a copy of the file "CMMOSLog.txt" from the folder where you installed CMMOS and a description of what behavior you are seeing he'd be more than happy to help you out. Der Kriegsherr
Thanks, Gordon. I did email gordonemolek@earthlink.net but it came back as undeliverable. I'll try again. CMMOS looks fantastic. The program appears installed and apparently runs fine. However, the BMP files aren't altering the appearance of the figures in the the games. Capt Canuck
Thank you very much for all the replies... All of the old and sadly now unused Batch Files are now history! Thank you very much again, Dave
BFawlty
Not sure if this is what was asked already by Mattias, about the bmp files, but I see some in the ruleset folders in CMMOS. Are these what were referred to? And if so and they aren't used should they be put into the bmp file under CMBO? Thanks
Captain Wacky
I think those are for the pics you see actually in CMMOS of the various mods that are available--they should be very, very small & show the whole vehicle, not like a normal CM .bmp
