Captain Wacky Posted October 21, 2002 Share Posted October 21, 2002 As long as the gun can see some part of its target, it is considered in LOS, from what I recall. Michael Emrys Posted October 21, 2002 Share Posted October 21, 2002 There is also the problem that the on-screen graphic depicting the building may not precisely coincide with its dimensions as held in the game engine. But I would say that if the LOS is passing anywhere remotely near the center of the building we can rule this one out. Sure wish you could post that screenshot. I noticed this phenomenon during a QB vs the AI where I lost a tank to an invisible gun. There were no trees and only a few bldgs, so I auto-surrendered and investiagted. The ATG was BEHIND a small house and fired thru at close to 90 degree angle If you check, in the test sample below, with the LOS tool the entire bldg is porous, on and off as you move the tool left and right with a few black interruptions..
